I prefer ahrefs, however, I do think semrush provides a more accurate kw difficulty score.
You prefer Ahrefs even though you believe SEMrush is more accurate?

Learn to estimate difficulty yourself. You’ll get farther faster. With all tools the difficulty and traffic estimates are almost always way off.
I guess you mean in a "qualitative" way?

Also @mikaop , don´t compare KD score and, instead, compare their SERP section.

I prefer both ahref and semrush. Both are good and accurate

Both, Semrush probably provides more information for a keyword how to rank, whereas Ahref is completely based upon Backlinks.

Semrush does not publicize the factors they consider keyword difficulty rankings. Do you know these factors?

Ahrefs and SEMrush are both excellent SEO tools. Ahrefs is an all-in-one SEO tool, from backlink checking to keyword research to competitor analysis. The advanced tools offered by SEMrush include advanced keyword research, competitive analysis, and SEO audits.

Same thoughts as I posted 2 years back mate; https://www.blackhatworld.com/seo/keyword-difficulties.1229535/

I prefer semrush over ahrefs as I feel it is legit and accurate and gives easy user experience

I think we should first understand how both tools calculate KW difficulty, if I recall, Ahref does this by links to the SERP.

So, if it says the KD is 10 it means you need an average of 10 links to rank on the first page.

Semruh on the other hand has a pretty complex calculation of KD, and imo, I feel Semrush KD is the best, it is pretty complex and gives accurate results as much as possible.

I personally dont like ahrefs

I never rely on KD, always looking for hidden from ahrefs and semrush PBNs.
