SemRush Vs Ahrefs [Keyword Difficulty]

By Your experience , Who do you think is more accurate in Keyword Difficulty

I prefer ahrefs, however, I do think semrush provides a more accurate kw difficulty score.
 
Learn to estimate difficulty yourself. You’ll get farther faster. With all tools the difficulty and traffic estimates are almost always way off.
 
Semrush seems more accurate.

But, I dont depend on either tool. Pick keywords after manully check the competition.
 
Both are good. But it's not like they are accurate. You still have to check and analyse the sites ranking on the first page to get a good idea of the keyword difficulty.
 
Somehow SEMRush seems more accurate to me, however I take both with a grain of salt and Google the keyword myself and try to analyze the competition myself.
If both Ahrefs and SEMRush give an easy keyword difficulty, and when I Google the term I see everyone and their cat writing the exact thing, then I'll assume KD is actually higher.
 
I looked at many keywords in my niche and most of the time Semrush was more accurate.

When you estimate it yourself do you also put a number on it? How do you decide what number to put on it? Do you also estimate the traffic/search volume yourself?


By the way, like most people have said Semrush has proven to be the most accurate. At leas when Semrush says it's an easy keyword, it's most likely easy than when Ahrefs said same thing.
 
I have always preferred ahrefs over semrush, it is more professional.

I don’t, no. Most of the time when I am estimating the difficulty of a keyword I am estimating whether or not I’m going to need backlinks, and whether or not the pages that are ranking are optimized for the keyword. Easy, or not easy.
 
I dont compare but my case semruse fine for me.

Right, I agree with you. I'm still having a hard time checking your keywords. But can you tell me is there any method to quickly bulk check keywords based on your criteria?
 
+1 for semrush, because semrush provides more accurate keyword difficulty score.
