Hello guys, i’m in the kindle business since a couple of years. It’s hard. Really hard, but you guys already know it. Well, i was thinking, what stops someone from, instead of crafting brand new content, just “copy” content from others successfull authors? I don’t mean copying, literally. I mean: -Take it from the us/uk market -Translate in another language -Refurbish making minor changes (character names, some scenes, details in general...) -Publish in another market with high quality cover and blurb Why people don’t do that since it’s a matemathical recipe for success? Ofc, taking from top tier bestsellers wouldmean getting busted in no time. So we will take from top tier indies. Yes,it’s a lot of manual work but isn’t it a lot of manual work writing 20 fict books per year by yourself? I’m just curious about it, the no-shortcut way it’s the one i choose. What are your toughts?
