    Hi,

I would like some advice as to whether or not it is legal to sell replica watches, sunglasses, handbags etc from the UK? I would create my own site so I wouldn't be doing it through Ebay. So basically, does anyone know the laws concerning selling replicas?

    Thanks

Of course selling Replica is not legal. If you do it with your own site, better hide it behind a good proxy server :) So no one can track you back (if you plan on hosting in the US or WEU)

And if your looking for drop shippers in the watches/handbags/Jewelry niche let me know I can hook you up.

Youd better start learning the routine "clear cookies" + use proxy :D

It's, just get an offshore hosting and you're set. Also don't buy the domain name under your name... not great idea. ;)

@askHWH I have a friend who's ranked top 10 for jersey kws, wondering if it's a good idea selling them? Business good?

yup offshore hosting is good enough. and if u are really not secure, get bulletproof hosting.

for domain, go use a VCC to buy it.

jerseys are good for current World Cup and the upcoming NFL :)

Put the site behind a proxy server, so no one will reach your real one. That should keep it safe

Even if you hide behind a proxy, offshore hosting, and buy the domain with a VCC, can't they always follow the money trail to catch you?

Yep that's where a merchant comes into play.

ed: ...and an offshore bank account would come in handy

Is it possible to hide your trail if you're not dropshipping but sending the items by post?

And what if the site is already offshore with its own ip on a Virtual Private Server?

No need to hide behind proxies then I assume

It's about as legal as robbing a bank. But, good luck.

Depends where you live, in the US you have to be careful, in the UK worst case scenario, scrubbing grafitti in the park, our jails are at bursting point
