Selling Products on a Website!

If you go ahead with this idea i think your priorities are:

1) Safety - Anon, bulletproof offshore domains and hosting with a way to collect your money anon -and a way to launder it if you make enough. (Assuming you are in a country with strict rules about this stuff)

2) Suppliers - Make sure you are not getting ripped off. Reliable contacts are essential.

3) Marketing - Competing with the other suppliers will be tough some will be companies with big budgets. (well placed on google, numerous traffic sources, nice looking sites)

4) Building a shopping cart - almost a formality compared with 1-3

I don't know what your background or experience is, the business model is a real money maker and it would be a real achievement if it succeeds. If you are a noob it may be worth running a niche adsense or cpa blog for a little while so you can learn all the ins and outs while you plan your more advanced (and illegal) schemes

Now when people want to pay would you think it would be better if I get a offshore merchant like moneybookers? Wold people abel to me by there credit card but put the funds in a booker account likie paypal? I def dont want to use paypal ATALL screw gaypal I had an account with 354 bucks on it and closed for god knows why.

Yea well Im kinda famlier with adesense. haha I made a blog on harley davidsons and got like 13 bucks a day on it. But i lost heart in it and stop promotaing awhile ago. haha I havent gotten a check for awhile so it aint doing well anymore thats why I want to step up.

Well I want to start this as easy as I can so ima start a worpress with that shopper theme. Hopefully it will look and work well with it. Idk would googlecheckout be abel to be put on there? as well as having the theme?

Why not just set up a store and let the buyers know they are replicas ? Would save a lot of headaches and trouble.

Not everyone is opposed to buying replicas if the price is decent. Ever get a spam email about buying replica watches ?

have you thought of selling replicas on ebay...

somebody somewhere posted that they were making money selling replicas on ebay..

but you have to mention that they are replicas..... be real clear about that too..

ebay might be a better choice....

when people go to ebay... they are in a buying state of mind...

12k/year is for the entreprise version and you don't need that. The community version is free.

Well magento seems a little to pricey for me 12k damm thats alotta money. Maybe if I was making a real store like newegg or sometin then id proably go with that.
But thanks for you help showboy!

Google for the following CMS webshops:

Magento
Prestashop
Joomla + Virtuemart
Opencart

There are many more, just do some research.

Actually you don't need to learn programming when you know how to use google.

Start learning by downloading Joomla and Wampserver. Try to set them up and running. Most of your requirements have ready made packages. Play around with them.

Yes, you are right I didnt know they offered a free one. That site looked professional, haha not like an opensource site like presto. Thats why I believed it. But yes I just downloaded it. Now I need to find a server. Am I 100% safe with an offshore hosting? I searched google and idk Im getting mix reviews.

And hell yea these look usefull to use. Virtuemart thing looks usable for me. Im gettin on searchin for good software to keep track of orders and shite and probably a little seo at the same time. :D

hopefully it will be easy as it sounds.;)
Well unfortunately it isn't as easy as it sounds. But then 'easy' is a relative term.
  • Building an ecommerce store is easier than laying bricks to build a brick and mortar store.
  • Sitting at your computer updating your website, making profiles, writing articles, etc. is easier than digging ditches all day long.
What's even better though is that you have a better chance of having a 6 figure income from Internet Marketing than you would have by digging ditches.

Just because it's easy to do doesn't mean it's easy to succeed. It still takes work to achieve success no matter what profession you choose.

Hahaha maannnn. I was kidding. I like you anologies haha. But yea I know for a fact its not gunna be easy. Like what you said yu got to keep your site updated track orders. I understand what its gunna take once it gets up and running. Then after it is running I have to worry about trying to get it to the first page on google for my niche.
But who knows maybe ill get lucky and not take me as long as I did with my blog trying to get indexed for my first time haha

you'l be wanting to accept liberty reserve (LR) or web money dollar (WMZ) if your selling replicas and if your using web money make sure you use the lite version of the software (the one you dont have to download).

have it cashed onto a anonymous debit card and your sorted at the payment side of it.

Ok ill be sure to check into WMZ never really heard of that before.
Now how do I obtain an anonymous debit card?

Why would you suggest that? Doesn't that mean that his buyers will also need to have LR or WMZ?

The OP does sound like an absolute beginner in ecommerce.

An all-in-one solution like bigcommerce will probably be more suitable for him, rather than battle to install magento on his own server.
