    Hello YOU!!

Decided to put some extra emphasis on some principles that every salesman should go about.
    Per my opinion.

    Here goes..

    Presenting Yourself with AUTHORITY.

Be the expert in your niche.. Be that person other people tend to go to when shit hits the fan.
It's important that you know your stuff. Hence, you should be an authority, or expert if you
will, in your niche. Also act like an authority, but don't lie. It's very important to be position your
self as an expert. From psychological perspective.. We humans have been in touch with authority
from day one. Yes your PARENTS where the first form of authority and you listen to them. Teachers,
your boss, the police.. You listen to these as they positioned themselves as experts.

    Converting Ideas to ACTION
Very important! If you have an idea.. ACT ON IT. From my own experience, or specifically said..
a friend's experience. He came up with the idea of a Micro Blog but never acted upon it. 2 years
later Twitter surfaced. If he took action on that idea he would not be suffering on finishing his
    school at this moment.

    Unabashed Promise of a CURE
After identifying a problem, agitating that exact same problem. Or pain if you will. PROMISE a
cure. Let your prospect now that what ever you are selling is the best solution for the problem
he or she might have. Agitate on the problem so that your prospect comes in an emotional
    vibe.

    Sell DEEPER MEANINGS

Sell hopes, dreams and effects. Not JUST what information you are selling but what does it
MEAN for your prospect. Let them FEEL what you are promising them.

    Sell to PROPERLY PREPARED Prospects
REALLY? Don't sell your eBook about traffic on a Weight-loss forum. Yes I've seen it happening
first hand. Also target your sales letter to the people that need a solution. Don't put all your
energy to capture that large group's attention that's just walking by.

Thus far these principles... Got more from where that's coming from! If you would like to get
some more then please LET ME KNOW YOU LIKED IT or THANK ME. I will then set some more
    stuff up.

    Steven

Solid stuff here! I think it's important to emphasize that every great salesperson is in touch with his prospects needs and wants. Then he uses their wants to entice them into the sale. Understanding the prospect's point of view, concerns, reasons they may be hesitant is critical to closing the sale. When I write sales letters I try and take on the idea prospect's persona to help me write something convincing and effective

    Hello YOU!!

After some replies I decided to put up some more!

    Here goes..

    Spotlight Extremely Dramatic SUCCESS EXAMPLES
That one testimonial where a 70 year old man is making millions on the internet
via his computer and buying each family member a car.. That plumber that could
pay of all his debt within 3 months after actively participating in a new money
making opportunity... Start the chase for the #1 testimonial and present it to
    everyone!

AUDACITY and the BIG Idea and BIG Promise
Stand behind your idea and promise like a fearless warrior from the planet Terra V.
You must believe that whatever you are selling is something that is worthwhile
to your fellow human being. Without it, you are bound to fail. But let your prospects
know how you take stand in your idea and do so in a 'hero' like fashion.

    Making PRICE of No Importance
This is so important! How are you going to introduce the price in your sales letter?
Are you not going to mention it at all? Or are you going the properly prepare the
prospect for the price? There is one option you should do.. But not everyone is
able to do so! And that is.. SELLING MONEY AT A DISCOUNT! Meaning.. Buy
product X for $10 and earn $1000 within a week. You are GOLDEN if you are able
    to do this!

    Making NEWS-Being NEWS
Make sure people are talking about you. And talk to the right people about your
product.. Why? Because if you talk at the proper person, it will make a ripple effect
where word of mouth will be selling your product like hot cakes!

    Making Whatever You've Got, Work

Your product should work. Period. Why do you think all those Clickbank 'Gurus' have
high refund rates? It's not only because PayPal does a refund right a way when they
see it's coming from Clickbank.. It's simply because most products are not working.
They got everything right.. But the product seems to be lacking with most 'Gurus'

    That's it for today!

Great tactics. Hopefully the average consumer stays naive enough for this to work longterm.

As a marketer myself, I have to say "well written", Steve.

But I would go with letting the prospect create expectation from us. Because when someone promises something to us, our guard will go up. This way, your prospect has a negative feeling even before you get started with the work.

Reduce the prospect's anxiety because there will always be a perceived cost, the only way to do that is to add a perceived value into it. For example, you say that click this button, it is free - but in the mind of the prospect, he/she perceives a cost behind it.

And there are many awesome topics to talk about when it comes to sale and buyer behavior.
