Selling a website

Hello,

Lets say hypothetically a friend of mine has a website which is making money. The website is doing pretty good (for a 3 months old) getting traffic from search engines.
The problem is this website is not really legal (adult videos, with no copyrights).
The website is making 15$/day from banners and in video ads. Can raise the numbers up to 40$-50$/day with more ads, including popups.
My friend wants to know if he can sell this website, how, where, and how much.

Please help my friend, thanks!

Sorry, I don't have enough posts for pming. Also, my friend does not want to sell it yet; he wants to know how can he do it, as he never sold a website before.

That also he does not know. Should he calculate the selling price for what he is making right now, @15$/day, or for total possible profit (he is afraid that if he puts popups it will drop in rankings and not go up)

It's a brand new website and the income may go up & down due to the niche it is in.
This is a risky deal for the buyer though (in my opinion).

I might risk 3 months of income on it. Not more than that to be honest.

It may drop in ranking and it may not because if u think about it people that search for a specific content to jerk off they are going to stay because they are thirsty

. Most porn website use popunder to make money , tell your friend to not sell his site yet grow it to something like 100 per day and then if he want to sell it it's going to be easy
