Sell website that only has traffic with paid ads?

I don't seem to find ANY info on the internet. I have an online business and I would really want to sell it (won't go into details cause on Reddit when I did they said I was trying to sell it there). The traffic comes from paid ads. I've been running paid ads to it for like 2-3 years. Do you think I still can sell it at a good price? And when I say good price I mean dependant of the profit I get each month.

I tried to sign up to 2 websites and they didn't want to sell my website because it's only with paid ads. I do get a LITTLE bit of organic traffic but that's it.

I'm going through difficult times currently with my family and if I could just sell this damn thing lol to someone who would have so much more potential to grow than me with this business I'd be so grateful. If you could just redirect me to some websites that deal with this situation and not just business that have traffic organically.

I'm very new to this never ever sold a business or website.

100%.

You'll need to calculate a price based on profit, age, etc.

Thank you! Should I try facebook groups? I don't see where I could sell it. Or try to ask again on reddit without giving details?
 
As long as it maintained a healthy profit margin those 2-3 years, you'll be good to sell it, have you checked flippa ? Empire Flippers ?
 
Being honest...what would be the point of buying a website if it's 100% dependent on paid traffic? What would be the difference between creating a website myself or buying one if both don't have traffic? Unless you have something else, of course...like a email list with real customers + social media pages with organic followers and things like that

The truth is that there are lots of websites like that on Flippa but sellers hide this fact, they simply don't make clear that the website is totally dependent on paid ads and naive buyers spend money with it without knowing the whole conditions

There's the facebook pixel seasoned, the social proof on the ads and yes the email list that comes with it AND the the actual product created. No? What's your opinion on that
 
I think you could sell it on FB through a group. Even if the traffic is only through ads, you already have the ads tested and optimized (I assume), so the buyer benefits from this.
 
Business valuation is usually 2-3 times the monthly profit. You can calculate the average monthly net profit to set the selling price of your website.
 
You can check how much other people's websites buy on Flippa, and then compare it with your own to estimate the value and how much it's suitable to sell.
 
You can sell on Flippa, they have businesses that specialize in paid traffic.

You will also have to teach the buyer to run paid ads. Do not expect very good rate for this kind of website.
 
You can sell it on some high quality closed Facebook groups where serious people are looking to buy websites
