Hey BHW experts!!

Hoping to get some assistance regarding rotating residential proxy setup, as customer support has not been too helpful thus far.

For context - I just recently decided to try out rotating residential proxies for my Reddit account farm. These proxies will be connected to Reddit accounts I've created and am currently ageing, sometimes use them for upvoting/commenting etc. but not for my main posting accounts. For those I use static residentials. I got them from proxy cheap and use Incogniton to run my accounts.

Ive used rotating mobile proxies in the past for the same use case, but the setup for residential appears to be a bit different. I don't have the option to add a whitelisted IP, instead it allows me to generate a pool of credentials for Session IPs.

My issues are with the setup process in the Incogniton software. I've attempted to use the username/password combo, I've tried the IP:Port by itself and with the user/pass. Nothing seems to get the proxy connected properly.

I'm 100% sure I'm just missing something with the setup process, but I'm hoping maybe somebody here has experience with these specific proxies or might know of a tutorial I can check out.

Any assistance is greatly appreciated, thanks sm!

Your setup sounds correct. I would test in just a normal browser to see if they proxy works and if it does then it may be an issue with incognition.

If you're obtaining proxies through user authentication, make sure to fill in all four parameters: host, port, username, and password. Set the protocol type to SOCKS5 and give it a try.

I have hundreds of automated reddit accounts, private proxies are working fine...
Couldn't have been any less helpful of a reply, but that's very nice for you thanks for the info lol

How do you monitize them? Also, can you recommend from where I get proxy?
Try searching the forums, there are literally hundreds of other threads that you can find that info. This is not one of them.

pro tip - you can reply to multiple users in 1
thread using the reply option

pro tip - if you're going to shill your sketchy 100% fraud score proxies on here, maybe try adding useful information to threads instead of trying to be a cheeky cuck about it. Might make your service look a little more legitimate.

You can set the proxy in the format of IP:Port:Username:Password, this will ensure that the session IP is enabled and test the connection

Try using HTTP instead of SOCKS5, some proxy providers default to one and Incogniton might not like it.
