Seeking Insight on Black Hat Techniques for Boosting eBay Traffic with Targeted Keywords

I recently hired a service provider on Fiverr who promised to deliver 500 organic views per day for 10 days to an eBay listing, using five targeted keywords, all for under £10. They claimed this method was highly effective and confidential.

While I did observe an increase in view count during the promotion period, I did not achieve any sales for the listed product. Nonetheless, the increased views might benefit the account in the long run.

Initially, I suspected that the traffic might have been generated through methods such as GSA backlinks. However, since the traffic ceased entirely after the 10-day period, this seems unlikely.

Is anyone aware of any proven black hat techniques that can generate organic-looking traffic to eBay listings at such a low cost using targeted keywords, and that can be halted immediately after a set duration?

No wonder, these services wouldnt exist or be much more expensive if they'd work for sales.

I understand your point. While there were no direct sales from the promoted keywords, it seems they may have been incorrectly chosen. However, I did notice an overall increase in-store sales during the promotion period. Unfortunately, as soon as the traffic stopped, my sales significantly dropped, leading to a week with no activity. This suggests that eBay's algorithm may favour stores receiving higher organic traffic to their listings, thereby boosting their visibility and sales.
