Searching Facebook for a person using only name?

Hello

I am trying to find someone on Facebook but can't find this person's profile.

This person is on Facebook but I can't find his profile using Facebook search (tried using different Facebook accounts and phones), also tried socialsearcher which is a Facebook search tool.

Which is the best OSINT tool to find someon's facebook profile using their full name? The location is India if that helps.

Finding someone on Facebook using only their name can be difficult because of privacy settings and how search works. Sometimes profiles won’t show up unless you have mutual friends, the same network, or the person allows public visibility.

perhaps they don't have a FB account under their real name?

If they don't have a FB account under their name, and if you do not have any information about that person besides their name, you'll not be able to find their account;

I am sure that the facebook account is under the name that I am searching.

Do you know the best social OSINT tool or website to find a person using only name?
 
Personal experience, the mobile Facebook search doesn´t find everyone.
It´s possible, he/she has configured it in the settings. "Don't find in search engines"
But yeah Facebook has own search feature.

Pain in the ass to find the correct person. If he hasn´t commented on something.
and if the name is arabic, russian, or asian name. almost impossible.

True, This is the reason I am struggling. It's extremely important that I trace this person. Do you have any Idea how I could do it?

We are from the same city in India but live 20 kms apart with no mutual friends.
 
If the profile doesn’t show up in Facebook search, it likely has privacy settings that limit visibility. There isn’t a guaranteed OSINT tool to bypass that the best option is to search within Facebook using variations of the name plus location, or connect through mutual friends/groups where the person may be active.

You can try tools like Sherlock, Social Links, or advanced Google dorks with "name" site:facebook.com. Adding location, workplace, or friends can narrow results. If the profile is private or under a nickname, it may not show up.

If you have only name, it is very general. If you add: city/state (India), work, school, age range, photo, mutual friends, phone number, email, it will be easier to filter.
For example: search for “Name + City + Occupation” on Facebook

You cannot hide by name. Op might be facing problem because of it being a common name and multiple results showing.
 
Use Google dorking like site:facebook.com "Full Name" India CityName to see anything public that FB search misses.

You can search by name and then select filter, you can search by city, school, place of residence, company then you will find more
 
If you want to find a Facebook account, you can use specialized OSINT tools such as Maltego, OSINT Industries or Sherlock (for usernames). search for their name combined with information in the search bar like adding city, education,.... This might help you. It's hard to find or you can find the person's friends first. The simplest is to contact them and ask them to send a link to their personal page
