Hey all! Could you please tell me why my Alexa Rank is increasing From last 4-5 days
it was 721000 and Now it Is 749000. Is it because of the Search Engine Update?

Alexa ranking is based off toolbar views as far as I know and has nothing to do with search engine updates. You might as well ignore Alexa, it is a very poor measurement of traffic and rank.

Alexa matters when u talk for a site which has less than 150k Alexa.
Anything beyond that- Alexa changes super fast.
Don't bother about it.

Alexa rating is so old that as Exitwound said is just nonsense. Don't bother with it and check your traffic and rankings.

You shouldn't be checking Alexa rank in the first place. Even if you check it, just ignore.

Most bloggers use Alexa add-on on their browsers. If your niche is blogging and seo, bloggers will visit your site. Your alexa rank will be improved. It is applicable to popular sites too.

For a new site (6-1 year old) on other niches, you will notice fluctuations and rank drop in alexa.

So, ignore alexa and focus on organic traffic. Your DA and alexa will be improved later once you get steady flow of organic traffic.
