A Google employee would be nice.
But, maybe somebody has some real life experience on ,losing rank/getting delisted after installing site kit.

They can take all of your website data, analytics etc and use it for PPC?
I was talking to people about this the other week....they were saying not to use analytics....so I am wondering if search console should be avoided too....
are web 2.0 sites considered "blackhat" ?

This is a debate.
They say never leave all eggs in one basket.
If you're doing anything blackhat stay 1 million miles from any Google plugins my opinion.
You can buy separate plugins do the same or even better.
But this is conspiracy talk never been proven that Google does spy

Only if it was reproduceable everytime. Lol. Most of the times, people do not even know why they got hammered. Okay, may be some of you Gurus know.. but not me atleast.. Its better to avoid google console altogether imo. Its like putting your head into a lion's mouth expecting it not to chop your head off.A Google employee would be nice.

Google spying is kinda a moot point. They have most of that data anyway.
The only thing they probably don't have is interactions on your site, but I would assume they can get that data from any Chrome users.
If you come to selling your website, Google analytics is often / sometimes a must have, especially with the big brokers.

Depends on the broker.
I dont know all the requirements for all of them, but I can pretty much guarantee that Google analytics will be always be one of the accepted types of analytics.

But if you don't rely on Google sending traffic to you, you can use other analytics tool or not use at all.

GSC just shows webmasters the data google already has, i.e. how it sees your website and some stats.
As for GA, I don't use it as google products tend to slow down websites.
As some mentioned before me... if it's a long term project then you can use both. Google uses chrome to spy on your site anyway. Even web vitals data comes from chrome users.
