I will definately buy such a tool and will try it at a local football game with some online bet place affiliate... but i don't know which one to buy..

is this one good? its just so small and i think it hasen't got enough power to spam out some hundred ads in short time...

which one should i buy..? i want to spend up to 400$...

best regards :)

i placed an order for proxiblaster's portable unit. i think it was 7 bills and change. going to take it to a raptors game and see what delivery rate it will get based on a 20K crowd. if it delivers, it will make money. will post some feedback after i am done playing with it..

wow this has some serious potential if you think outside the box with it. Imagine conventions, or other highly targeted gatherings. This has way more potential than just blasting some affiliate links while walking around downtown, though I am pretty sure it could do okay with that as well.

Anxious to hear your feedback on it mockba.

Clubs, concerts, football matches, sports stadiums, high street electronic billboard....

I got one (message) a few years ago at Schipol Airport.

Found a portable one here....

I posted about Bluetooth Marketing some months ago.
I think some of you should read my post about this, to clear up some missunderstandings.
E.g: If a dude enters your bluetooth proximity and leaves without looking at his phone, your bluetooth message would disappear...

Here's the post:

I own this device. With standard antenna it should have 1km range. Pffff no way its 1km maximum 600 meters = 300 meters radius.

It's easy to use, just plug it to your laptop and drive around the city.

Looks like it sells for: AIRcable Host XR is $129.00
Not too bad.

It has 2 or 3 accessories at $45 each.

What accessories should I be looking at?

300 meters in each direction is very good.
Suppose that 300 is line-of-sight meters.

Lakers games who will win tonight.

Could you use just a laptop, a dongle and some free software like BSendPro?
Saves a few quid outlay :)

I want to get one of these devices or make one. I wonder how well I'd do walking around the Las Vegas strip.

I'd imagine Vegas would be a great test spot.

Here is a nicely priced one:

You can send vcf,vcs,crd,jpg,jpeg,bmp,gif,amr,mmf,mp3,mp4,3gp,avi,txt,html, and jar. Not sure what a couple of those are...

I have moved to the beach recently. I am planning to buy one of these, I think it could do great things... I know, I should have had one by now, being the OP and all...

You just create your content(coupon, email submit offer, etc.) and use a windows PC to upload to the bluetoothserver, then go to a crowded place. I have an AC outlet in my car, so it's on like Donkey Kong...

You could also advertise for local businesses. Set one of these up at the store for a little while, offer nearby people a coupon. When the store owner realizes how well it works, start charging. If you're a hustler you could make the sale in 20-30 minutes. Go to a business with your laptop and bluetooth prox and show them how it works. If you can deliver some custies right there, that's money in the bank. What to charge is up to you and your area.

Are your brain juices flowing now?;)

This is the first time I've heard of this. Sounds really interested to be honest, I gotta try this when I get some time. Could be powerful as hell to use on Black Friday. Target the people by the store, and rock the Bluetooth ads.

Where are the folks who were gonna
report back about their tests?
