Hi guys,

For straight 3 days i've been reading the forum about Scrapebox. Most of you here really recommended using scrapebox for blog commenting, harvesting and etc. So looks like im going to get Scrapebox to do the job.

BUT i have some questions once i have the scrapebox.

First: How many Proxies do i need to run Scrapebox exactly? 1 proxy is enough or more?Which one do you all recommend?
Second: What is the next step? URL harvesting? (i'm missing something here)
Third: How many comment posting should i run every day?

Thanks guys.

1: Most people recommend using the Scrapebox provided proxies for scraping URL's and buying 10 private proxies for blog commenting.
2: Huh? Usually you URL harvest then blog comment if thats what you mean.
3: Depends on many factors. Domain age, difficulty of search term, number of private proxies etc.

Scrapebox is an excellent piece of software to invest in. With regard to your questions.

1. I would suggest getting 10 proxies to start with and my own preference is yourprivateproxy.com

2. Search for blogs related to your own subject, for instance if you have a fishing site search for blogs related to this, using the keyword scraper or wonder wheel scraper. Then search harvest your url's.

3. With regard to how many comments to add each day, this is entirely up to you. However I would suggest little and often is a good strategy.

Remember to never directly link to your money site!

There are some fantastic guides on BHW.

Thanks I signed up too. I watched the ones that came with the program and I still don't feel like I know as much as I should. I have a tenuous grasp on using custom footprints.

If you know how google works then you should kind of understand how the custom footprints work. Try typing the phrases into google and see what the results are like (inurl etc).

1. I would skip private proxies for now. I bought some and don't use them. Unless you get like 100 I don't see how public aren't just as useful.

Scan for public proxies every morning. I can usually find 200-400 to use. The more you have, the more connections you can safely run at the same time.

In addition to the built in public proxies, you can find lists on here that you can add to the proxy checker, as well as other proxy forums that have lists. There are some threads on here on finding more. It takes a few minutes to get a list, and then maybe 20 minutes to check them.

2. There are a lot of auto approve lists floating around that you can use instead of harvesting your own list. They don't seem to all be "auto approve" to me, but they have a better success rate than the ones I harvest. So you can start there, or harvest your own.

One you have a list, use fast poster to post to as many of them as you can. Save the "posted" ones to a list, and save the "failed" ones to a list. Run the failed ones again through the poster. The first time you might only get 10% success, then 6%, then 3% ect. Once you get to 1-2% success, that list is good enough and I move on to the next list.

Then take all your saved "posted" urls and use link checker to find out which ones actually posted. These are "auto approved" and you can save this list for quick backlinking later.

I don't post to lists bigger than 100k at a time just for practical purposes.

3. I have a list of websites that I backlink to, and you can post to them all at once. So, if I have 100 sites on my list (all my money sites, article directories, web2.0, etc) then the SB links are spread out over all of them. So, I'm not pounding any one site too hard.

Also, when you make that website list, you want to put more emphasis on some sites (so, maybe you want to hit your money sites 10 times as much as your backlink sites)...so list your money site ten times as often on your websites list. For example, you would have 99 websites of article directories and web2.0 sites, and 10 copies of your main site, and maybe 5 copies of each inner page on my main site.

(if you don't want to target your main site, use other sites in your website list, and then just save the autoapprove list you make to hit your main site later...the list wont be that big, so you won't be hitting your site that hard, and they will all be AA so you wont get your main site in trouble with akismet)

wow what amazing tips.
1. Honestly, private proxies don't seem to help that much to me.
2. URL harvest and then post to your second tier sites. Never the direct site you want.
3. Less is more, start with a little, build up to alot, then slowly decrease

Speculative buyer of scrapebox here. My #1 question:

How do I avoid being sandboxed from Google? Is there a "magic rate" of linkbuilding? A PR cutoff? Keyword density of comments?

Even if I blast links to buffer pages, google will know they all point to the same place and might sandbox the target.

I have yet to have any sites "sandboxed" and I have screwed some shit up when testing new tools (I always seem to read the instructions last). So I think if it was that easy to be sandboxed everyone would be taking out their competitors sites right?

I don't see results and movement when I have screwed up but never got sandboxed....yet. You just need to use a lot of different tools and a variety of methods and SB is fairly inexpensive.
