Scrapebox [Questions]

I am planning to buy scrpebox tool for my SEO campaign. I want to do whitehat SEO. I will buy scrapebox only to find sites to put my backlink on.

My questions are:
- Does it ONLY(please note this word) find sites to put comments on?
- Can i find sites with any platform?
- What additional things i need to buy with it? (other than vps and proxies)

I know i can use footprints available on this forum to harvest many links. But will it find me all the links (and not only the links to comment on)?

like-
if i want article directories/forums/web2.0's/ etc. to make backlinks on, will it find me some?

I know how to use it, i am watching the tutorials carefully, but need to clear these doubts before i buy. I want to make sure that it meets my requirements since i cannot afford any other tools after it.

yea, i read quite a few things about it and people always mentioned "comments" along with scrapebox. sorta kinda confusing.
