To be honest blog comments arent that great in terms of link value and google have even stated something about them here http://googlewebmastercentral.blogspot.com/2009/11/hard-facts-about-comment-spam.html
although take what ever google says with a pinch of salt.

even though they are not that great in link value they are easy to get especially with SB. Should you be worried about noobs spamming, NO.
Because if using SB correctly then you should be doing fresh harvesting for each niche so you shouldnt be running into the same generic blogs, you then should be using the addons and pr checker to trim the lists down in terms of PR and OBL,

another tip to use would be to take your do follow blogs that allow instant comments and use put the "site:rootdomain" through the harvester and tick the google search and this will return all the indexed pages of that blog from which you can do a PR check and OBL check to find high PR **************** instant approval links,

and as long as your spinning your comments then YOU wont have a footprint unlike the noobs that will be spamming pages with tons of OBL with the same comment,

So the value you get out of scrapebox comes down to the user much like internet marketing in general.

plus SB is much more than just spamming comments and should be used to find other link sources.

They weren't the terms when I bought the software. A lot of existing customers would get pretty pissed.

As they rightfully did when GodCPA decided they were gonna go monthly service based after charging everyone $250 for the app already. Not a good move.

I do however agree that the price is too low. Lowering the monetary value of the product will in time lower the the products value itself by lowering the bar for entry. I would have gladly paid much more for my copy if it kept a handful of other users away. However, there is already fucktons of blog comment spamming. Is it really going to lose any steam now, like was posted already, blog comments are already losing value. Sweetfunny is in this take make money too, and I'd venture to bet that it was a wise business decision on their part to have priced it affordable for everyone. probably profited much better than they would have by limitting access to thos ewho can afford to drop $200+ on an app.

for $250 i could pay my programmer to make 5x better tool then scrapebox!
honestly the current price is it's already max price what it should be

If you can get someone to code something better than scrapebox by 5x, I believe you would be selling that now.

Op, how exactly are noob's going to ruin this tool for others?

Blog commenting isn't exactly new.. there are already heaps of other blog commenting tools around.

I do agree that it's worth much more than $57, but care to explain how noob's are going to ruin it's effectiveness?

There are millions and millions of blog posts to comment on, so I don't understand your logic.

bobblehat, I think you're going to be shock to find out the blog commenting tools exists since 2007, in fact I'm running one that hasn't rust yet. Unnecessary noise and paranoia is what you're making.

I think, the SB isn't 250 USD worth lol

To much people use it, to low really success rate etc.

The amount of people using the software has absolutely no bearing on your success rates. You make it sound like we're all commenting on the same blogs.

There are billions of blog posts on the internet. It is impossible for this to begin getting "saturated" or anything like that.

You are right in the point: we didn't all post on the same blog

I mean the really success rate for the program (comment AND link is online)

And i only wait for the share of your book here ;)

Again, the amount of people using the software has no bearing on the success rate. Why would it?

And no, my product is on the Do Not Share list.

If you really want to weed out the useless then the software must charge a premium from next update.Even those who have already bought it should be paying the extra amount that it needs to weed out the useless.

If someone is using SB wisely he would be making money that would entice him or her to pay a premium for updates. If he is not making any money with it the sour grapes story comes into play.

Increase the price
Make the current customer to pay for updates too..

Some of the current customers might be idiots and might ruin it as well.:)

This would be a fair way so that the wannabe SB'S wont feel hurt and people like the OP feel safe too

If you want it to be more expensive for others, tell me are YOU willing to pay that exact price of $250? I'm positive you're not. If sweetfunny made it so affordable for you, others can/should have the same opportunity -- that's why it was released at the cheap price in the first place. To make it affordable to everyone.

But if the price would be raised, I suggest everyone, including the old buyers pay the whole price. That will make it fair.

Rather than worry yourself about the abuse or no abuse situation you should channel your energy towards ways of maximising SB and doing things different from the Noobs you mentioned.

It's such a great tool? Get creative with it then. Peace

Whilst there are arguments on both sides of the fence that I agree and disagree with, the fact of the matter is SB is a very powerful tool, on a par with say, Xrumer, but is at a relatively affordable price for the majority. Now, whether the low price has given way to a heap of 'noobs' going around spamhappily blasting away with no real thought, is up for debate. What I will say is that since SB came out, my blogs have all been inundated with the most moronic, ill thought out spam runs I have ever seen, and are straining under the weight of it all. I have also seen some rather clever blog spam as well, though, admittedly, it is few and far between.

A higher entry price will undoubtedly deter the majority of 'noobs'. But I have seen experienced marketers leave idiotic spam comments. Would it be fair to raise the price? Not to those who can't afford it. But I think the main concern here is the longevity of this software, which, stupid use of it will no doubt shorten its lifespan. Is raising the price the answer? I do think it will help lessen the abuse of this software, but it won't stop it. Raising the price will only stop those who can't afford it, and stupidity can effect anyone, regardless of cashflow situation.

Ultimately though, it's up to the developer what price they set it at. I would like to see SweetFunny up the price, not least because he/she is like a ninja on caffeine, constantly updating, developing etc ? it's the best developed tool I think I have ever seen ? and I would like to see SweetFunny properly remunerated. But raising the price to deter abuse of the software is only half the battle, how the rest of the battle is tackled almost seems like a lost cause.

The "Only 27 copies remaining" is not plausible , why should he stop selling if he only get's a one time payment and if so what would keep him motivated to update? My proposal is to make it into a monthly payment of 15 $ or so and stop selling new copies.

I agree that the price should be raised AND existing users should pay whatever the difference would in order to upgrade to future versions.

I have been doing manual comment spam for about 2 years now, and since scrapebox was released, virtually all of the easy to find blogs to comment on have been nearly destroyed. It isn't just the volume of comments found, its the type: "good post admin" - come on! Its an artform to not create spam like comments and it seems like a lot of scrapebox users aren't even trying.

Giving scrapebox to a noob is like giving a gun to a kid. Can you imagine if something like xrumer was $47? In many ways, scrapebox is almost more dangerous than xrumer because its so damn easy to use.

Totally agree with you websiteguru , I can really see how many newbies are looking for a 'quick fix' SEO option and are mainly lazy.

There are millions and millions of blog posts to comment on. Wordpress.com alone generates 100,000 new posts every day!

Think outside the box - Take advantage of the "scrape" feature to use a wider range of keywords and dig deeper.

Blog commenting will never ever be over saturated and there will always be blogs to comment on.

I do agree that many people use it inappropriately, but the same can be said for any automation tool on the market. It really shouldn't make a difference to your success with the tool at all, though.

Think outside the box - Take advantage of the "scrape" feature to use a wider range of keywords and dig deeper.

I think the main problem is that people are not searching for niche keywords. I might guess that lots of people are just searching for "every" blogengine,wp etc blog. For instance, it wouldn't be too hard to just scrape most of the 1.5 million blogengine sites showing up on google without any specific keywords in mind. Scrapebox is so fast that this wouldn't be that massive of a project.

I manage 100s of different wordpress sites in all different niches and lately I have been flooded with spam comments. This correlates perfectly with the release of scrapebox. This along with seeing that a large amount of the blogs that Im scraping are spammed to hell shows me that there is a saturation problem.

Anyways, I think the point is valid that the bar should be raised a bit higher to keep out the ignorant.

"i posted to 5000 blogs only 3 got approved"

"i have 33 backlinks now with 1 week of work with scrapebox but all are nofollow :"

Anyone who is having those issues is a massive boatload of fail...
