yes, it was working for 1 day and it went back offline. Blimey that's not what you would expect from a tool like Scrapebox. Just hoping things will get better and we can go back to "normality"
cheers
Its not the tool, its an Attack. Its not that the tool or servers or support is "malfunctioning" its an attack.
If somebody else sold a product with a nonfunctioning license server and wasn't communicating what they were doing to mitigate the problem, it doesn't matter what their excuse is, they'd probably be shitlisted and banned. Business is business, somebody else's DDoS isn't my problem and I shouldn't have to stop using something I paid for because their infrastructure is inadequate.
I think your completely off base about the shitlist part. Im not saying its your problem that they are being attacked, nor that they shouldn't state that this is an issue and that its being addressed. But they did clearly state there is an issue and they did clearly state its being addressed.
Regarding shitlisting and banning them:
Scrapebox has been up for 3 years now, its not like its been a historical problem, they offered a lifetime license and they have provided exponentially more value then the $57 that was charged.
Furthermore its an attack. Its not a malfunctioning anything, its not negligence on the part of scrapebox. Its not a "fault" of scrapebox, its a fault of the people who are being shrewd by attacking their competitors.
They have communicated. They have posted in the official sales thread and put popup notifications in their application.
I mean I think its pointless for them to waste their time every hour posting here, saying "still down, still working on it". It doesn't change it or fix it.
Can it get any more official then this?
What more do you want, for them to put a time stamp on it so that you feel like its up to date?
So far this month its had a 91% uptime, thats not "Awesome" but its not horrible either.
OUTAGE STATS:
Out of the past 5.5 days - 126 hours roughly the activation servers:
DOWN 68 hours
UP 58 hours
DOWN 53% of the time
UP 47% of the time.
For the activation servers to be up 47% of the time, and clearly be having a DDoS attack thats both posted about in the sales thread by the developer and posted about in the tool its self, that hardly qualifies it for a shitlist thread. If this had been the norm for 3 years, sure, shitlist it, but its been up in the high 99% of the range over a 3 year time frame.
This is the first month since Feb 2010 that there has been anything less then 99% uptime.
BE REALISTIC, this does Not qualify as shitlist.
If a Mod says otherwise, so be it.
