you'll still get link power, even if they're no follow
So are you saying you use the SB link extractor to get lists of spammers, then manually get **************** links from analysing each of their links on backlink watch?
Are the do/no follow tags reliable in this, because I am confused. I am listing a first page google viagra spammer, and all his links are from blogspot comment spam, and they all flag as no - follow. This doesn't make sense than they can rank so high with links that do not follow. Unless no - follow links DO help (if the anchor text is the keyword being targeted), they just don't pass on PR.
Importantly, there is often a bunch of high PR pages which the original spammer missed. Clean, and high PR - from a site which would have otherwise been overlooked because the originally spammed page had low PR.
Sorry but i think you're wrong, i have multiple sites that are ranked #1 and #2 for competitive keywords (750K+ results in quotes) and i have about 90% nofollow WP comments blasted with SB and a tool i own.
Most of my sites have about 8K of low level backlinks and about 500 high PR and ****************, if you're only getting **************** links to your site that G knows something is up because **************** links are harder to get each day.

You are of course entitled to your opinion.
However, I will assert this fact - just because you have 90% nofollow links, this is not proof that nofollow is effective for serps. The argument does not hold water.
None of my sites have anywhere near 8k backlinks but most of them rank well. I'm not a "blaster" - I work with powerful, quality links. It rarely takes more than 300 of them to get what I want to achieve.
