Scrapebox link checker

i use on my own xsserver 1gb ram vps. yes it makes freeze cpu and really slow. for last months i just using free edition it never made me problem really better faster easy to use. im checking links while scrapebox blast. free edition doesnt using much source.

It looks as if I'm not the only one having this frustrating problem.

As someone advised above, I tried using the free version of the checker and, at the moment, it's definitely working smoother yet it seems that it's returning less 'found' links than it's paid counterpart. Is there any way that we can adjust timeout settings etc on the free version or is it just a 'take what you can get' type scenario?

Its not a standalone program. Its a feature of Scrapebox.

I run the Link Checker at 50 sec Timeout, 200 Max Connections, 0 proxies. I have no problem with it, and haven't been blocked by google using Zero IP protection.

With VPS still we need priveate proxy , I though with vps we don't need private proxy .

Depends greatly on how many urls you're checking for also. If each page you're loading up is being checked for over 1k separate urls, it's going to crawl to a snails pace.

If all the URLs you're checking for are from the same domain, then you can combat that by just searching for the domain like http://customersdomain.com instead of http://customersdomain.com/page1, http://customersdomain.com/page2 and so on.

If you do have a big list to go through and their web 2.0s for instance and the keywords are unique enough, you can just put the keyword in the link checker. You wont be able to provide an excel report if you use the above method as the link checker wont provide the backlink info correctly, but all the pages that are "found", will contain the backlink text, hence why it needs to be unique.
