Im having a very serious issue with scrapebox. This problem has put a complete halt to all of my SB blasting!

I load up SB and plugin all of my comment poster information (names/emails/websites/etc..) and begin posting as usual (btw i use 10 private proxies from squid proxies for posting). It will begin posting normally and will produce an average amount of success/failed posts, nothing out of the norm yet.

Here's the problem... It will get to a certain point and stop producing successful posts at all. it will continue to run through the list failing on every single site (i let it run for 20K fails in a row to be sure). My first thought was burnt proxies so i checked it out and there still green with low latency. My second thought was my AV (norton) could be blocking it since it just upgraded to some new crappy version, I made sure it is allowed on my firewall setting, no luck.

I have noticed that the successful comments originally stopped on around 5-7K successes but has been gradually getting lower every time i run SB, now its down to stopping around 200-300 successes.

This isn't going to pay the bills i need this diagnosed so i can remedy the issue, any one have 2cents to offer?

I sincerely appreciate any advice you can offer

I've had similar problems myself this morning, but I'm blaming it on my shitty upstream being overloaded.

I am getting an error saying "Cannot Connect to Scrapebox server" whenever I open the software. Is this related?

You may need to check your network connection settings. Are you overloading your server? Does your router need to be restarted due to congestion (Home connection)? Scrapebox worked just fine for me during a 70k blast earlier this morning.

I wrote a guide about configuring your machine/Scrapebox to handle heavy usage here: http://www.blackhatworld.com/blackh...58-howto-optimize-your-network-scrapebox.html

    Hope this helps.

    Best of luck,

I had the same problem before few weeks. The proxies were ok (if you ask SB proxies test), i am on Xserver VPS, so the problem cant be my PC and network, so i decide the issue is in my list. I bought a new list and , the same sch1ts. Well in the end i found what is wrong. My proxies. Sometimes SB proxie test show them dead, but i can use them very well, and sometimes SB proxie test show them "OK", but do not trust him. Test with new proxies. If you still have this issue, contact SB support. Good luck

You should never rule out the machine or network just because you're on VPS. In fact, having your operating system correctly configured is even more important to utilize the resources available to you. By default Windows 2008/2003 is severely under configured for use with application such as Scrapebox.

    Hey thanks everyone!
I ran it overnight lastnight and to my surprise i woke up with an acceptable amount of successes. I dont know if it was a fluke or not but i had just run several malware scans and removed a few threats off my box, i'm thinking that was probably it.
I'm about to run SB again to verify the issue is resolved and I will be sure to post here either way and let you all know.

Well im running scrapebox now and i had the error u talked about before,
As far as i remember i did a simple restart, loaded up all the badboys again and it fixed the problem.
Im actually running it as we speak on the pc so its definetely working so its probably your end and not scrapeboxes end !!

Okay so its still not working, though its stopping at around 6K-7K successes now, at least its better than 200 like lastnight.

I really need to figure this shit out!

Also I never meant that it was on scrapbox's end so chill moggwai. I only want to diagnose what is causing this issue so that i can resume proper posting of my links, Im sure it is on my end, whos pointing fingers?

Thanks for any additional advice anyone can offer,
    -RR

I was testing 2000 proxies and 0 passed, then tried to update Scrapebox and having the same error as the guy above that says "cannot connect to Scrapebox server."

I am having a similar problem, but it is very odd. It is working flawlessly on my windows 2008 server box. But my home PC (win7) is failing to test all proxys, havent even tried posting yet.

I have 7 proxies. Apparently a low latency, though I've dropped from a 80% success rate to a 30% success rate overnight. I can only believe that its the proxies. Also from Squid. Sorry SquidProxies, but this is taking too long to resolve now.. :( This is costing me customers...

sometimes its just ISPs bandwidth issues, like they capped you on an hour or tow or something for blasting too much or for draining a lot of megabytes in the system, if this is the case [ I learned this the hard way when a VPS company told me that we are slowing their internet down ] you have no choice but to change to a new ISP or net connection.

Or just slow the threads to 10 or 20 max.

Not all allowed scrapebox at heavy usage.

I'd check the ram first - I've noticed on my old comp I'd run out of ram in the middle of a blast and it would just 404 or time out most of the posts. Also - on my new machine - I need to reboot after 1-2 larger runs as it seems some programs don't release the memory back to the system.

Another issue I've had that influences mostly the speed (but lower the success rate as well) is crappy connection. I'm on cable and sometimes I get 10 mbs and sometimes only 1 mbs and the difference is huge.

Something is blocking scrapeboxes internet access, this likely a firewall or Anti-virus that triggered when you started using rapid fire connections testing proxies. Add allow rules in all security programs including malware checkers.

    No, see above.

Firstly, if you look at the urls in the white box after posting, there will be an error message to the right of it. If they are just rapid fire failing it should all be the same error. What is it? If its lots of different errors then its likely its a bad list, if its 1 error then we can figure it out.

It could be your proxies, that you would have to take up with your proxy provider or get new proxies. You coudl test run with some public proxies, it would lower over all success, but it could give you a good idea of if its your proxies. If it happens too with the public ones and you hit a wall, then its not the proxies.

My biggest suspecion is that its your security programs. I know you checked norton, but triple check it. Delete any rules about sbox and add full allow rules. Do the same for yoru firewall, and any malware checkers. May malware checkers can really wreak havoc on sbox, like malware bytes causes lots of issues for sbox, although its a good program overall.

Its nothing at their end, its just a bad network connection or poor speed of proxies at your end,

I have similar problem. but it is the proxies that are bad. I guess you as me get the error -403 as most of error messages when you post. that equals forbidden access so either scrapebox has an issue submitting correct auth to the proxy servers or they are mega banned..
