Not only is Akismet free but it's used by most of the quality blogs.

Use scrapebox on web20 and article directories and the ban will not happen.
Article directories? Am i missing something?

Use scrapebox on a known banned ip if you can run some autoapprove lists then check for baclinks and you'll build a list of non askismet site.I several sites banned by askismet but it's not a big deal.Loads of other methods like articles etc so I wouldn't lose sleep over it.
This may seem too much like common sense, so I may have missed something here, but...
Like what's been mentioned:
- Find, 'do follow' or 'unknown' high PR 'on theme' blogs via SB and then MANUALLY go to them and comment by hand.
- If you are 'blasting' then blast the Web 2.0s, NOT your money site. If you have a few articles and blog posts then blast those URLs which in turn link to your main site.
- Use auto approved blogs to do your blasts to money sites. These won't have blog owners flagging you.
- For blasts, use blogs which aren't Wordpress as these tend to have the Akismet plug-in installed.
That's what I've learnt in the very brief time I've owned ScrapeBox.
I do have 1 question: Can Akismet detect my home IP address via public proxies, or if they are public, should they be tested and any transparent ones removed?

seems that even when blasting autoaprove blogs you can be banned by akismet, based on the delay between each comment, the similarity between comments, these sorts of things...
Better set a long delay, and use a motherload of proxies...
But surely, even adding a delay of 1 second would make the process so long it would be untrue.
I guess it's a case of reaching a happy medium. 1 each second = 60 a minute, would make you'd have to leave SB running quite literally all day.
i'm a new user of SB since yesterday and my moneysite is banned by our friend Askimet.
In the very interesting thread, to add my little advice/idea, I read that to keep using SB with WP blog and my moneysite I have to use domain redirecting to my moneysite thanks 301. Did someone use this solution ?
