Hey,

I wanted to ask since no-follow links don't pass juice or get the site it's linking to indexed. WHAT is actually the point of using Scrapebox with No-Follow websites....

I heard that no-follow links also counts, is it possible that google SAYS it will not follow no-follow links or index them, but still does it to trick people?

I will need to test it one day, make a no-follow link to a brand new website, and see for myself.

Any help is appreciated

Best Regards, Luca

In my experience nofollow links are still good for getting indexed and even help towards your ranking. Could be wrong on the last bit but Ive indexed plenty of new sites with nofollow links.

when doing any kind of link building, the key is to make it look natural

do you think it is natural the all your links is do-follow ? you got the answer : )

Very true, thanks for reminding me again ;)

No-follow links do not pass on link juice according to Google, but they can still help sites get indexed. Look at sites like Digg and Delicious. They are no-follow, but using them can get your sites indexed very quickly.

Just because a link is no-follow does not mean it's worthless. Through my testing and experience, no-follow links can help sites get indexed and ranked. Not to mention they help your link building appear natural.

Finally, you can harvest places to get do-follow links from with SB. You just have to take the time to dig around.

No point, tried several times commeting to large amounts of WP nofollow sites getting around 2-5K links (with link checker) on both new and old sites. No visible effects on SERP any of the times. Gain a lot more by manually putting links on do-follow sites with PR. It also makes sense, as this is one of the reasons they came up with the nofollow tag to begin with. To make it pointless adding a link and lowering the amount of spam. However it can as mention above be used to get sites indexed fast.

Stop thinking of the value sb for posting, but rather for scraping. Create ******** lists and manually post or outsource to those if sb can't do it

Yes that is true, I always thought of SB as a tool to get websites with high PR and comment on them manually!

I never liked the idea of just throwing out 250 links, and then hope that it's either do-follow, is going to get indexed any times soon, is a valuable link passing juice.

I think the mass comment is more used to post low-tier links to your web 2.0 sites? Am I right?

nofollow is "good" for the reasons above.

for do follow, just do a huge scrape for your keyword, post to sites, and check which sites have your backlink. from those sites, do a ******** check. now with the websites you get from that, find out their external backlinks (to find out where other spammers are sending their links). scrape to all of those and repeat. pretty soon you will have quite a big ******** list :)

edit: another thing you can do is like what i did last night. i found a site that could be exploited using a certain script so i took a footprint i found on the registration page and found tons more sites like it PR 2-7. now today i'm going through and getting tons of good high PR backlinks

Nofollow is not useless. If the blog you have commented is relevant. You can drive some potential customer to your site.

Any link is a good link , usually i use scrapebox on any blog (******** , nofollow , Pr , no pr) a link in plus can't harm you at all.

I have nothing to back this up, but I think high PR no-follow links increase your trust rank and contribute to your "relevancy" based on the anchor text but don't actually increase your page rank.

ok this what I do I harvest loads of links check pr delete anything bellow pr1 run list through no follow add on than post to follow links only. Is their any better way? I get small amount of do follow links from scrapebox. It makes me wonder maybe blog commenting is over rated? Please advise I do not know if iam using scrapebox wrong or whats the deal.

If no-follow links didn't count google webmasters wouldn't be showing me thousands of no-follow links (yes-blasted w Scrapebox) I know for a fact these links helped my sites SERPS (however ******** MAY help more..)
