Hey everyone, Im new to the forum but have been reading it alot lately as i am trying to rank a clients YT video on page one of G. I was doing a coarse and they're so called "game plan" for ranking a video failed miserably and i am not getting any emails in return from their support. So i decided screw them! i'm gunna do this right and get SB, I did a blast today 11k to my video link, AWESOME!! but as soon as i did another harvest and checked the page rank, my newly purchased, (literally hours old) private proxies were banned:eek:. and i payed 30 dollars for a monthly prescription, and cannot afford 30 dollars a day to buy new ones to use scrape box. Does anyone have any suggestions on dealing with this issue other than tweaking the settings? cause ive read everything on the internet reguarding this tool, and from what i see if used right in conjunction with bookmarking deamon can dominate G....any help would be apreciated.

i usually rank for yt video with manual web.20 article and video
1-2 month pr 1-3 and more view

can u elaborate? that didnt realy answer my question, i know everyones got their techniques, im just wondering if theres a cheaper way, or a recommended blast per day to prevent from being banned.

Don't use private proxies for scraping....use private proxies for posting. Use a good public service like proxy central to get 300+ clean unbanned google proxies for scraping. I scraped 3.5 million urls the other day using them.

Also, when google bans your private proxies, they will be unbanned again in about 6 hours or so...but you really shouldn't be using quality proxies like that for scraping.

You can certainly use private proxies for scrapping Google. You need to limit the amount of connections it uses though to prevent being banned. Try setting your connections in Google Harvester to a 1:5 ratio. ex: 10 Private Proxes = 2 Connections.

I can harvest Google for days non-stop without being banned. Additionally, if you are banned you will typically be unbanned within an hour.

Just curious but what advantage do you find from doing it that way vs just plugging a bunch of public proxies in there and banging away at a higher connection rate?

Seems like with the lower connections it would take a long time to do any serious scraping.

In my experience you can get more scraping done quicker with public proxies since you can go balls out without worrying. Well, unless you're carrying around hundreds of private proxies :p

I never harvest using my private proxies.
Scrapebox has a perfectly fine public proxies harvesters. Just add your own favorite lists to it and within 20 minutes you should have a big list of useable public proxies.

Depending on the size of your list you can run 100-200 connections just fine.

I wouldnt scrape with private proxies google is gonna ban them quickly. Only use them for posting. Also if you are trying to rank your videos have a look at reelSEO. Most of the courses you see are just recycled garbage.

As GoldenGlovez has mentioned, private proxies for scraping are fine as long as the connections for G are low (I've gotten away with 10 connections with 10 private proxies with no bans).

I don't know if this is true, but I've heard that if G bans your private proxies, then only use the other SE's to scrape (until G accepts the proxies again).

I've used public proxies before, but always got crabby results & took forever.

it's not if you use them or not for scraping. It's just the amount of multiple connections when you scrape. I normally use 5 connections with 10 proxies and I've never had one of them banned.

I will try the public elite proxies for the scrape, if that doesnt work i will adjust my connections, thank you all, i really like the community you guys have here! Very helpfull.

There's not a huge difference between using a small amount of connections to high. I've done split testing using numerous types of proxies and found the results to be very similar in the end URL/s figure. With 2 connections you should achieve around a 70-80URL/s rate. Around 10-20 connections it's 130-180 URL's/Second. Then I've tried using 50 connections and still receive a modest 220 URL's/Second.

All in all, the point is you can scrape Google just fine on private proxies. I currently harvest around 48 million URL's/day with only privates. Without the headache for searching for working public proxies.

Ya public proxies, dont work for me at all, 404 errors uop the ying yang, im better off using my private ones and adjusting the settings. I tried all the recommended sites for public proxies mentioned in this thread with no success. whats your ratio of private proxies to post urls? Like how many private proxies do you use per url blast ?

ya believe me harvesting public proxies is not worth the headache , you could spend hours looking for proxy sources and after testing them you find they are all dead. Its not worth it at all, I'm looking to buy myself.

Good luck any way you decide to go.

You guys have issues scraping proxies? Doesn't seem that tedious harvesting them from sb, unless I'm missing something here.

I have read some posts in some forums about great proxies but I tried some of it, and it seems like those are easily getting banned. Well I guess we better find much better proxies. Right?

my setting was 6 google harvester connection with 15 private proxies.. No banned at all, i have been harvesting since i got hold of these proxies.

for posting either private or public would work though i will suggest using private proxies.

Try scraping with half of the ammount of connections as you have private proxies. So if you have 30 proxies, use 15 connections.

Also if you can avoid using quotes and search operators such as site: inurl: allinurl: etc... it will make your proxies last a lot longer.
