    Hello BHW,

I just bought scrapebox recently and was checking proxies but it takes alot of time to check, i wanted to know whether Scrapebox tests the proxies by accessing google or some other method?

I mean when i see that IP BLOCKED in proxy checker does that mean it is blocked by google or the ip is banned permanently everywhere?

Sorry if its a noobish question but i was just wondering and didn`t got any answer for it on google and BHW threads!

    Thanks!

Ip blocked is google blocked. Get a list of public proxies off here for scraping and buy private for posting.

Success rate with good private proxies will be more than double

I believe that some Internet Protocol Addresses are blocked by Spam Protection tools as they are included in Spam Databases.

In the proxy checker, there is a tickbox ignore google[].
If ticked, it will just check proxy security and speed.

So if you want to post, scrape yahoo or use for anything non google related, tick the box.
Speed is limited by the connections you set, and your internet speed.

I run SB on a vps can can check thousands in a few minutes, but on my home box its too slow to bother using (crappy 5mb broadband)

Setting the timeout limit for proxy harvester low also helps you get through lists a lot faster. Who wants slow response proxies anyway? :)

    Yup. Go crazy.

I use my proxies for a lot of different things simultaneously, it's really the best way to get all the bang for your buck you can I think. So stretch them bad boys out with impunity.
