Scammers getting lazy!!!

I think most people on here can spot a fake phishing email but it seems they aren't even putting any effort into getting their hands on our hard earned cash anymore!

I've seen worse.

And then I've seen some next level shit too.

The other day I got one from Godaddy about an expiring domain or something like that.

Took me to a carbon copy Godaddy login page with an SSL on the domain too. I think it was Iframed.

I almost logged in quickly but noticed the URL seemed off.

The dude was using a typo Godaddy URL.
 
Damn hahahahaha.

But i've seen some legendary good sh it.
I got an e-mail with the exact same template as paypal. . I thought it was real but when I clicked the link my security said it was a scam.

The first time a scammer got me clicking the link
 
I've seen some good ones before, never actually clicked a link yet because I always hover the links to see where they're going on important emails.

Nearly been caught out with URL typos though.

Precisely my point though, if anyone falls for one as bad as this they should not be doing financial transactions online.
 
I got this one a few days ago with logo and everything ...
Maybe they are just laser targeting professional Costumers, who knows ....
They can't go wrong twice and make it more believable the third time to say that they are going to make paypal simpler and more convenient for the customers :rolleyes:

It seems they intentionally do that to get inbox.. because if they write paypal they will get filtered.

I think the intention is to get the total rookie... the person that has no clue at all. Anyone that has some background on line won't fall for this but the rookie may have no idea that this is not legit.

The scammer knows they can't get the typical seasoned person and thus shoots for the low hanging fruit for the easy score.

No logo, poor grammar and bad spelling slips right past that guy as he is all worried about his PP account having problems.
