Scammed by redtide1969 for $50

I was reading a thread in which I got interested at an investment opportunity that @redtide1969 was offering. I can't find the exact post but it was one of the posts whereby people ask how they can invest their money.

I messaged and asked him for more details regarding this opportunity. We discussed back and forth and I decided to invest $50 with him on the 2nd of August.

The last I have heard from him is August 6th and he pretty much has stopped responding to my private PMs regarding updates regarding investment. I have all the PMs saved if mods want to get into contact and get more information.

I know I have myself to blame to believe a random guy on the internet saying he would be able to turn my $50 into something more.

What can be done about my situation?

I'm giving @redtide1969 a little more time to respond as it is a long weekend here in the USA and he may not be online.

Thats what he said to me.

I tried to dispute the transaction at PayPal but because I didn't purchase anything - they didn't want anything of it. Has anyone got any suggestions for me?

PP won't refund that so he is going to have to get you your money.

He can western union/moneygram it to you if he can't pay you via PP.

@redtide1969 - you are going to have to be resourceful here and get this cleared up. You made the deal with him via PM here on BHW and that account was not compromised.
 
I have checked my PM and can be accommodating if @redtide1969 follows through and reimburses my money next month.

@redtide1969, dude you'd such great positive reputation back then just a few years back.... you were such a nice friend helping everyone out.... I remember those days, but do you?
