Scammed By bearded on BHW

Hey guys/gals would just like to let everyone know that ( bearded ) on this forum is a scammer. I sent him $25 paypal for 10 fb pvas and as soon as I sent payment he went offline. He has been online alot sense I sent the money to him and did not reply to any of my PMS I have sent. $25 is not a big loss and I dont care but I know alot of people who spend $100+ at a time for bulk PVAS so just wanted to let everyone know before it happends to someone else. :eek:

When did this transaction take place?
 
This has happend 2 days ago. I had him on gtalk but he blocked me. Also I am not going to bother with a paypal dispute over $25 I would lose anyways because paypal loves to let scammers keep there money.

I wouldn't agree with you, Paypal goes extremely hard on scammers. I won a dispute of I think $40 few years ago. And if you don't dispute your letting the scammer to scam some other people and letting him grow. So you better dispute IMO.
 
Opening a dispute not only may get your $25.00 back. But more importantly, This may not be able to happen to anyone else if you take action.

I agree, I've been scammed for 5 small amounts on BHW over a long period and won every time with a paypal dispute. It's simple and fast, and likely that he'll have a few people in dispute simultaneously. you'll get your money back fast.

Like you are taking responsibility (quite rightly) to let people on BHW know about him, you should also (IMO) take that further to paypal.

You need to file a dispute. It may or may not stop him from doing it to other people, but it will definitely put a damper on things.
 
i no there's a lot of people out there with little
money, but its coming to something when people
have to scam for 20/25$ thats like 3 packs of cigarettes
in the uk - its nothing trivial. not being scammed i mean
the amount, i just dont get why when bhw offers users
great opportunities to promote and sell many things do these
lowlifes still scam for peanuts.
file a paypal dispute mate - if u get time throw me his gtalk
name - i love screwing with scammers.

Hey guys I am filing a dispute right now. Yes proxygo I agree with you its very sad when people scams for $20/$25 Why I say paypal lets scammers keep the money because in the passed I have been scammed out of hundreds of dollars and paypal always lets them keep the money and they when the dispute. I am not sure how paypal desides on who to pick but I have called them out on it alot of times. Every month there is more and more scammers
 
It amazes me the lengths people will go to steal $25. Not really a long term business model.

I think we should screw this guy by replying on his threads. I found one but I can't post links yet. I found one thread with the subject " Paypal can suck my d*ck!" . So paypal already started hammering him. This thread was opened on 13th April 2011 so how come he is still scamming. He will never learn.
 
Just use a credit card through paypal all the time, paypal has no buyer protection for virtual goods. You can report a problem 90 days after the transaction with a cc and you may have to provide emails or other contact records. I've only needed to do it once when some fuckhead wouldn't refund my money for his shit software within the satisfaction guarantee.
