Lesson learned dude - for a deal like that you need a contract in place and/or at least you need more control over everything so that he could not do that to you. In this situation I just dont think you have much chance of getting anywhere. Unless you are gonna take him to court over it.

Maybe you need to set up your own thing that you are in control of and then put that guy out of business.
 
You lost this money. Nothing you can do about that besides sabotaging it. Rather than dwelling on the negative energy, do something positive.
Contact 10 more youtuber content creators offering them the same thing.
This time see a lawyer, have contracts signed, and try to control the affiliate panel yourself. What I mean is rather than them pay you %, you manage the payout, and send them %. If it can't be done, you need to have some guaranteed method in place so they won't fuck you over. Maybe host the ads on your server on a rotator so 70% traffic goes to them, 30% to you.
It wouldn't be a bad idea either to obfuscate your service as much as possible, making it very hard for them to reverse engineer your stuff like this guy did.
 
If you don't have an contract that mean no deal. Maybe if you can prove in tribunal that the conversation and the agreement happen you will have your monney, but the all what you get gonna be payed to lawyer and if you lose you gonna pay also.
If you burn his house you go to the jail and you gonna pay, again.
Just find another youtuber and propose him the offer, turn this story to you adv by showing him this story and the results ($$$) and this time signe an contract.
 
I'd personally take copies of the link, pictures of the conversation + whatever proof possible and forward it to a private investigator so something can be done within the legal time frame.

I'd act quickly so you don't lose what was put forth.

OP, you sound like a pansy ass. I'm highly doubtful you're going to do anything, just like I'm highly doubtful that you actually made any of this money. You gave someone a tip, they ran with it. You didn't negotiate a contract, so now you're fucked. So just sit your fat shitter in your chair and keep being a keyboard complainer. Facebook "massages" don't mean shit. Maybe in a country like the US, where there's a good legal process. But good fucking luck in Eastern Europe.
