Saturday in the office..

Looks so neat and clean. What's that thing beneath the table and why that oldish membrane keyboard? A mechanical one would be good for a setup like this.

That's a foot rest.

It's not an old keyboard. It's a super comfortable, ergonomic wireless keyboard without a num pad (ie, it's more compact). The num pad is separate but I don't use it. It's in the drawer.

Mechanical keyboards are too heavy/big/noisy and you can't get ones shaped like this. This is the best keyboard I've ever found. I bought several of them in case they ever stop making them.

Soft keys. Quiet, and I can type for hours every day, 7 days a week without any pain/RSI issues.

And with no numpad you can have the keyboard in the natural position *and* the mouse in the natural position. The numpad forces your mouse too far to the right.

It's the perfect ergonomic setup. Even the mouse I've chosen is one that doesn't give me problems. Everything is thought out, right down to the seat and the position of the monitors. :-)

The money in the draw is authentic:) do you live in the UK.

Course it is. It's only about €3000 + £500 :-) I live in Portugal.

Thanks for the detailed answer. I agree. Comfort is above everything. I want to try out that keyboard, could you please send the link if possible, or at least share the model name perhaps? Also what mouse and wireless headphones are you using?

Would you advice leaving the UK starting your own business ?

I can't offer any advice without knowing more about you.

If you want, you can post in the jr exec vip with more information about yourself and what you do and I'll give you my advice. Or you can post here depending on whether or not you're bothered about sharing information in public.
