Sape penalty?

I don't use G or webmaster so no way to know. But my niche is little obscure to have like really manual penalty, it's in the gaming CPA niche which I doubt they moderate.

Well first thing you should be doing is add the site to a GWT account and check for manual penalty...if all is cool then just remove the site (and verification file) and carry on. Otherwise all this discussion is a waste of time if your site is already penalised and we are all doing guess work!

Yeah, it had decent backlink profile already. What sort of jump did you saw (or dance) when you added huge amount of such links too? That'd be helpful if you could let me know that. Thanks.

Just not my cup of tea to wait 10 months to rank 1 site lol. I might as well start begging on the streets.

No one is saying to wait 10 months for 60 backlinks / 1 url.

That's the thing, you don't need 60 backlinks to rank a term.

If you use powerful links few are enough - less time for drip feeding
If you use shitty ones then you need a lot - waiting ages for drip feeding.

How old they were? And in what niche in general (like health, gaming, etc)?

Haha, thanks and don't worry, all cool.

hey,

shit, i was at gaming CPA niche also LOL! Well, i had the same thought in mind, it was country targeted, that is why i was a bit aggressive and successfully pushed it to page 13# in 3 weeks.

But anyway, lets see how it turns out man and good luck.

Oh, haha that sounds interesting. Manual penalty for CPA gaming niches? Is big G out of his mind? :P

So that site got hit which you SEO'd in 3 weeks right? Did you just blasted along with sape links or did moderate link building along with powerful links like sape/pbns?

Hey,

Yea, i built 20 homepage TF20+ of SAPE, and about 5 TF20+ PBN with a few 20-30 web 2.0s + social bookmark.

Nothing much really, about 50-60 links were built. Almost all my links are revealed in webmastertool, which surprise me a bit. Moreover this is my first time encountered this.

I am still unsure what really triggered the penalty, since i have ton of sites using SAPE, but they are absolutely fine.

Getting a manual penalty for PPD/CPA niches sounds really weird, no? :|

I am actually not sure man, this is the second time over the course of 2 years.

But oh well, lets create another one then :D

I got the manual action from google by saying something "Fancy Links" and now my rank dropped from #5 to #60..... i think it is sape penalized, directly bought from sape website....... where i am wrong?

As a Sape provider, it is normal to see them dancing around, I monitor a lot of my clients sites and see that all the time. There have been no adverse affects due to Sape links in the last few months, although we do only use the highest quality links possible

Google seems to have launched an algorithmic update in October. It doesn't seem to specifically have anything to do with any link type. Lots pf links have been seeing increased deindexing since then, for instance PBNs were deindexed. Others have reported more than usual trouble getting web2.0s to index at all.

Ironically enough very few around here seem to have an expatiation or answer.

Adding further to the discussion as an OP since this thread has been revived back again - I have still NOT seen any improvements. Another site that on on page 2/1 which used sape too got bumped just 2-3 days after this thread to page 5+.

I have since then not been able to recover despite removing sape links.

Like many of you, I am totally unsure on what's causing this. I mean I see crap sites ranking in my niche with just shitty SER links and my sites got penalized. Can't really understand big G sometimes.

I've had success with 6 web 2.0s with 6 SAPE links pointed at each of the web 2.0s. Every niche is different in terms of how many links you need. I've tried a number brokers until I found a good, private one who had been using SAPE on his own until becoming a broker.

It is taking longer time to reach page 1 now. May be add some social signals?
