Hey guys,

I know there are updates going on about this but I decided to go ahead regardless and test this out. So around a week ago, one of my sites came and jumped to 2nd page which never ranked and I got all excited.

I decided that this website was perfect opportunity to test sape links with. I am quite familiar with sape interface and I only got the best links, all 20 TF+ and legitimate websites which were either business or organizations. I got around 60 of them.

Today when I refreshed the SERPs this morning, it has struck back on page 4, some keywords on page 5 and so on. I am afraid that I might have gotten penalty since the last website I tried with in August (I created thread about it too) was very next day having same results (was on page 2 as well and jumped to page 5 and beyond, now nowhere to be seen after page 10).

I want to ask whether is this normal for those who adds sape links? Is this the dance (page 2 to page 4/5) that you usually see?

Kinda feels like fuck it these days. Trying out a lot of things but always getting hit.

Thanks.

you may be patient and see the outcome over the next weeks. If you got trashy SAPE links you may or may not have been penalized otherwise I think your website or your SEO strategy is just too bad if it not get back to it's ranking.

Thanks for the reply. The strategy is pretty well like I said. Site jumped to page 2 just a week ago and was stable there.

I am pretty experienced with Sape since I have been able to filter only good links, manually checked through various tests including checking on Google, TF/CF and fake PR, etc.

I am afraid I might lose this site. The last site I did test on in August end had same thing happening the very next day. I am just not sure that if it is working for others, why I am getting nuked lol.

Looking forward to hear from more people.

Have been using high quality sape links for at leats 8 months now, working just perfect and have also a few sites struggling on page 2 - regardless what we are doing it's not jumping to page 1 so far.. in the past we have seen this and after 13 months the site then went to page 1 spot 5... not sure what Google does and why it takes so long.

Yeah, my site came on page 2 and that is why to push it to page 1, I gave a shot to sape. I really hope I don't have to lose this.

wait a little longer...
Have you (or anyone else) that has used Sape have similar movements happen? I mean from page 2 to page 5 jump? I am afraid that it might be algo penalty.

Give it more time, its to early to tell.

Its just a google dance. If it was sape panelty, then your site would have been wiped out from top 1000.
So let the things settle.

You mean, you have 60 backlinks from Sape? It is negligible to affect the SERP, I think... And always try to use "natural" anchors.

Yeah, close to 65 backlinks spread over 3 main anchors.

This doesn't seem to be case always though I think. Many are just 50-100 results penalty, isn't it?

Interesting, I heard people are still getting great results using SAPE right now.

It could be google dance, you couldve been punished. Just wait a bit more and see if there is any movement. If it are bad SAPE links, go disavow them and hope for the best.

It's normal. You should wait a bit and if that does not help you can diversify your anchor profile a little bit more and/or add more SAPE links.

Thanks. Eager to hear more opinions as well. Particularly from those who have used sape and saw similar trends (going from page 2 or 3 for example to page 5 or 6 and then possibly coming back).

SAPE penalties often get you nuked entirely. A +40 penalty looks like a soft penalty for unnatural link growth.

Hey, thanks for the opinion. Do these kind of penalties go away or improve? I mean like I said, I had one site towards August end (I cannot entirely confirm it was due to Sape as it just happened to be hit the very next day of adding sape links) first got hit in similar way, page 5 or 6. Today, it sits at 15+ pages which is good for nothing.

Probably its just the google dance :D

But, why did you add '60' links at once? Isn't it healthier to add only a handful?

I would stay away from SAPE.

Also everyday someone adds me on skype and tells me they have been penalized.

I ask them if they use SAPE and they all say yes.

I have also spoken to other people who used only SAPE links and they have also been hit.

To me, its pretty clear SAPE is being targeted right now, I would stay away for at least 1 month.

I added it over a span of a week almost. My niche also has a lot of tolerance as I saw by analyzing my competitors. Most of them just use also crap SER links and ranking in top 3 lol.
