SAPE as tier 2 still safe?

Hey guys,

I haven't been using SAPE links for a quite a while. Did it some time ago, I think around 2 years ago and the results were good back then.

Do you guys think it is (still) safe to point SAPE links to your tier 1 high authority guest post? I want to do this for a big client to rank for a keyword with 550k search volume and a Semrush difficulty score of 99%. Already pushed it from position 20 to position 5.


Hope to hear what you guys think or hear some experiences on it!

I think you should be fine pointing them at the guest posts. If you really want to place it safe thought, build some web2.0 to the guest posts and then point your sape link to the web 2.0
 
On tier 2 worst that can happen is you waste the link money. Probably won't hurt the moneysite.

Your profile icon is appropriate for this question. You are resurrecting the dead linking
Go for tier1 not tier2, considering that it's very unlikely that you may ditch a tier1 for a huge penalty, but still possible. I would not throw that to my MS.
 
Still works, sure. Selection is key, obviously. We also saw better results pointing them at mid-tier PBNs instead of GPs. However, both scenarios work. Just one thing: With outreach links you want to make sure you have the green light from the webmaster to point the links, otherwise you risk removal of your posts/links.
