For a day job, I'm a Verizon Sales Agent and in my opinion for someone looking to do Internet Marketing, Social Media, and other various tasks related to those areas I'd have to say the Note 2. When I first got my hands on the demo version, I was extremely skeptical about using it as a day to day phone mostly due to the size, However if you put it in your pocket it fits just as easily as any other phone simply because of how thin the device really is. The Quadcore processor really lets you tear through almost any application seamlessly, And I was able to navigate my desktop computer running Windows 7 with the Teamviewer app very easily. I'd say I have large hands, and on occasion yes this phone is a bit much to handle. I think if I could have used it for a week straight I wouldn't have had any issues, But a 1 day test drive really didn't let me adapt to the size quite yet.
I personally don't have this phone, However I do have the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 Tablet with very similar specs to the Note 2 (Besides the obvious fact that mine is a tablet, and the Note 2 is a 'Phablet') and I must say, The S-Pen is AMAZING. Extremely responsive and pressure sensitive, I honestly wasn't a fan of Stylus' ever since I used to carry a Palm T|X, However Samsung really did a nice job on this. I use it to jot(scribble) notes and I'd say it correctly translates them into text maybe 90% of the time. If I take my time when writing then I'll have almost zero misspellings or punctuation errors.
The iPhone 5 is a great phone, But I just don't see it fitting the bill for you when it comes to Internet Marketing. Some utilities I use on a daily basis for IM consist of Teamviewer, Wordpress, and processing transactions and orders for my Offline SMS Marketing business using Merchant Warehouse and Freshbooks. I've tried them on the iPhone 5, and the smaller screen really impacts the amount of time it takes to get things done. It's a great platform for Media, But not quite up to par when it comes to productivity.
TL;DR = I'd get the Note 2 If you want a productivity based device that can handle everything IM related, The S3 If you want something a little more friendly when it comes to actually handling the device, and the iPhone 5 if you're looking more towards something designed for media and ease of use/portability.
