For a day job, I'm a Verizon Sales Agent and in my opinion for someone looking to do Internet Marketing, Social Media, and other various tasks related to those areas I'd have to say the Note 2. When I first got my hands on the demo version, I was extremely skeptical about using it as a day to day phone mostly due to the size, However if you put it in your pocket it fits just as easily as any other phone simply because of how thin the device really is. The Quadcore processor really lets you tear through almost any application seamlessly, And I was able to navigate my desktop computer running Windows 7 with the Teamviewer app very easily. I'd say I have large hands, and on occasion yes this phone is a bit much to handle. I think if I could have used it for a week straight I wouldn't have had any issues, But a 1 day test drive really didn't let me adapt to the size quite yet.

I personally don't have this phone, However I do have the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 Tablet with very similar specs to the Note 2 (Besides the obvious fact that mine is a tablet, and the Note 2 is a 'Phablet') and I must say, The S-Pen is AMAZING. Extremely responsive and pressure sensitive, I honestly wasn't a fan of Stylus' ever since I used to carry a Palm T|X, However Samsung really did a nice job on this. I use it to jot(scribble) notes and I'd say it correctly translates them into text maybe 90% of the time. If I take my time when writing then I'll have almost zero misspellings or punctuation errors.

The iPhone 5 is a great phone, But I just don't see it fitting the bill for you when it comes to Internet Marketing. Some utilities I use on a daily basis for IM consist of Teamviewer, Wordpress, and processing transactions and orders for my Offline SMS Marketing business using Merchant Warehouse and Freshbooks. I've tried them on the iPhone 5, and the smaller screen really impacts the amount of time it takes to get things done. It's a great platform for Media, But not quite up to par when it comes to productivity.

TL;DR = I'd get the Note 2 If you want a productivity based device that can handle everything IM related, The S3 If you want something a little more friendly when it comes to actually handling the device, and the iPhone 5 if you're looking more towards something designed for media and ease of use/portability.

The Note II is made for someone like you who wants to do business/IM without getting a tablet. The choice is clear. I just got myself a Note II yesterday and it's just awesome. I mean it doesn't fit in my skinny jeans but... xD

how much did you paid for writing the review?

There is no doubt in my mind that note 2 is a far better phone than anything on the market, especially for people here on black hat world. My note phone is the best one I had by far and looking forward to the upgrade it...

note 2 - 1,6 CPU x 4... and 2Gb Ram, and that screen... you dont even need a laptop most of the time...

apple?? common... of course it moves faster because it can only do 2-3 things in total...

I can connect a regular mouse, keyword and a usb stick to it... and can connect it to my tv via hdmi...

and I have a big enough screen to see things properly.

Ha, I wish. Only way I'll make money is if someone from this thread takes a plane ride to Minnesota here and buys a phone from me :p Even then, I'd much rather close a deal for my SMS Marketing services...But money is money!

I just know that if I was buying a phone without honestly knowing the pros/cons from an IM/Business perspective, I'd love to see a review like the one I just wrote to help with the purchase decision. You won't really get the same level of insight from an average 9 to 5 salesperson who's there just to make his rent and car payment.

So far the battery is good for 2 days. Thing that made me happy i have to say :P.
With simple tings like emailing+teamviewer+skype i think its good time :D

The Note 2 will suit your situation best. It is a beast of a phone trust me I'm a massive phone geek.

I personally have the Nexus 4 and would suggest that but the Note 2 is better for business and has a much better battery life.

galaxy note 2 is cool only if your watching video otherwise samsun galaxy 3 is really better !!

I currently have a Nexus galaxy i925 32gb my Benchmark on AnTuTu is 7438 lol so i think its time for me to upgrade, Only thing I don't like about it is it lags a lot when Im trying to use the gps and the battery is short even with the extended battery It gets 10 hours of life. So at the moment for me its between the Nexus 4 and Note 2 because I use the phone very heavily constantly checking stats + using many applications for various task I need the ability to multitask and have the phone last through out my day.

i have S3 and i like it a lot, but why would somebody want to get note, its like ipad mini, i dont think i would ever buy mini its not any better just smaller

The note 2 will be a perfect fit for someone like me looking for a bigger screen and more powerful unit.I just wanted to let you know The ipad mini screen size is 7.9 inches, the Samsung note 2 is 5.5 inches, much smaller and much LIGHTER! The battery is a huge plus for me too, it last much longer than the S3,AND if you are one of the people who don't like how long the Galaxy S3 last and decide to upgrade it with an extended battery you now have a much more bigger phone with the same size screen.

The Nexus note 3 screen might be 6.3 inches being reported by various news organizations,if you want to compare anything to the ipad mini then by all means do so with the Note 3.

Picture of extended battery on Galaxy s3.
