Hey guys,

I've been thinking about it for a while, really curious how people make living in different countries. I live in Western Europe, Georgia, salaries are low here, it's not a place where Internet marketing is popular, more than that, no one accepts it seriously, lol.

I wanna know what kind of salary / how much money is enough, normal or much for one person in your country, I'm sure there will be huge differences.

Here it goes in my country :

$150-200 - Bad
$300-350 - Normal
$400-500 - Good
$700-900 - Excellent
$1000-1200 - OMG!
$1300-1500 - Holy SHIT!
$1500-2000 - Someone lucky
$2000-3000 - Stop lying!

People can make living on $600 / month, it's more than enough for a student like me for example, they can't imagine making big bucks on the internet, there might be over 200-300 IM'ers, not more. People got used to work only for government, they forgot life is full of all kinds of opportunities.

Don't get programmed by your fuckin' government, do it yourself.

I'm actually curious : what's the situation in your country ?!

India is a very diverse country....

In what I have seen till date, depending upon your location, the cost of living varies...and same goes throughout the world.

If you go countryside, $100-$150 per month is enough,
Move to a small town, you need atleast $200-$250 to survive.
Coming to a bigger city, the requirement reaches $500 just to bear basic expenses.
Goto metros and you'll need to shell out $1000 a month to survive.

Well thats what I think. Would invite more opinions for the same :)

$3000+ - Bitch please!

What's the deal? People earn that kind of money on a daily basis.

I'm making from adsense monthly is 5500 to 6500...google adsense pay me amazing CPC rate.

$100 - $150 month, ???
I couldn't pay 2 weeks of electricity with that type of money, let alone live on it.
If I do not make 5 figures a month minimum I would starve.
Just saying . . .

In some countries it's a big deal. Especially those where families earn under $400 a month and life expenses are almost equivalent to those of countries like the US. Can you imagine living with a family on a $400 per month salary in the US? I think not.

It is the same in Bosnia and Herzegovina as well. But, that is ok here because everything cost less (food, electricity, heating, fuel, ...)

:D

Bad example, $1k / day here would be rich guy's salary. $1k/month is more than enough to live, not survive.

That's why I love IM :D

Do not forget to invest /fixed deposits/pension
if you are making more than enough, because IM may not give you stable earnings all the time.

1. Georgia is noway in Western Europe. It's in Western Asia & Eastern Europe.
2. I am from Ukraine, so our figures must be somewhere close. But for a nice decent living for a couple of 2 people 2,000$ per month should be fine to cover the rent, pay for gas, go on vocations 3 times a year, buy condoms, even you could save some cash for future use. There are some class of people who makes way more then that. Of course many makes way less. I would say nowadays it depends on brains for the most part. We live in the era of IT, so money can be made pretty much out of differnt parts of the world. I also see myself moving in USA, but only when I reach about 20-30K per month, in other way I would just loose my level of life

Those who live with $400 a month are not motivated enough to take their life in their own hands.

I have only 3 months of working experience(day job) in my country and i realized that this is not how i am going to spend my life, so i quit.
Few years later i went to USA, i worked as a house keeper($10 per hour) and part time busser($8 per hour+tips) - TAXES+TAXES+TAXES+TAXES...+RENT+FOOD+CIGARETTES($10 per pack, c'mon) again 3 months and i went home - again complete waste of time.

For example Microsoft programmers' salary is ~$75k-$80k, there are a lot of people here that earn a lot more than that, again complete waste of time.

I am making around $25k-$30k per year, it is not much, but is 5-6 times higher than the average salary(one of the shittiest countries in EU).

I will NEVER apply for a day job, unless an earthquake destroys my apartment(my computers) and my bank goes bankrupt.
If you are homeless and without money a day job is a good start.

At that place, you wont have those appliances to consume electricity, even if you get, you won't get power to use them fully :D

Mexico, roughly the same figures, but a bit higher. As a student, you can live for a month, including rent with 300 usd easily, I did when I was in college, however, to be considered a big earner, the higher levels, you need to make much more, because the wealth gap is much wider here.
$150-200 - Bad
$300-500 - Normal
$600-800 - Good
$850-1200 - Excellent
$1250-1500 - OMG!
$1600-2000 - Holy SHIT!
$2100-3000 - Someone lucky
$3000-5000 - Stop lying!
$5000+ - Bitch please!

edit to add: average income for families is 550 USD a month.

Motivation is one thing, capability is another. Not everyone wants to and not everyone can move to the UK or the US. Looking at your reply I can only assume you don't know what it's like in countries where $400 per person per month is an average salary. Well, maybe I've slightly dramatized those figures but that's not the point. The thing is that in some of those countries there is no money to be made like there is in the Western countries and hence such figures are normal for those countries.

In countries of the East there are many families who have relatives working abroad so that those back home can live an easier life, but not everyone is able to do this. Some prefer to stay at home and watch their kids grow up and just live by. What's the point in having money when all you do is work all day every day?

Lastly, there are countries that are more developed, and there are countries that are less developed, but no country is a shit country.

Where you from?

I meant Eastern Europe, don't kill me for that :D

Some interesting posts here, just as I imagined.

Yeah, not everyone is capable of making $1k/day but in a country where there's no big cash made $30k/month is a huge amount, for example here, in my country, $30k is president's salary only :D

But it feels better when you make good cash in a poor country, you can afford more.

I'd like to visit USA one day, but I'm not willing to live anywhere but my country.
