Why did you back down and take it down? I would have kept it up, if you haven't done anything wrong then he can't put anything on YOURFULLNAME.com about you, and if he does...SLANDER. You can sue for that.

However, can I ask you if you have any lawyers nearby where you live or where this guys lives specially?
I mean, before I even lifted a finger I will provide any proof to my lawyer only, by creating a blog you actually kind of messed you case let me tell you. Anyway you still got a case to fight and go for. Trust me you could get a lot more than 2k if a proper lawyer gets involved here Usually a 200 usd phone call will fix you..
Here is the Trick: Just have a local lawyer close to this guys address, to call him and scare him to death. Lawyers KNOW how to do that and they will charge you not over 200 usd I guess, if you promise to give them the case if you decided to take the whole mess to court (very unlikely right?)
I have used this trick with non paying CPA networks and it works wonders

If you don't mind me making a few suggestions:
Name your screenies, it gets indexed as that. Also I read a few things about formatted text, can't find the link right now but if memory serves right it said G likes to interpret text for relevancy to the search term and bolded words and lists would be indicators for instance. This brings me to another suggestion, to type it all out and put the named screenies on another page. This gives more to be indexed too.
G can't index pictures as well as it can text I think
