The girl in my avatar, who I think looks like Megan Fox, makes pretty good income doing video testimonials and fan signs but is really open to upping the game into more adult areas. I've just been exploring different options myself so I can take her in the best direction. She's a single Mom so her making good money is important to me.

I have a fairly new webcam site and I have several models but no one seems to set a schedule to be online. I am a model myself but i need to find girls that are willing set a schedule and work. I pay models and studios 60% commision on private chat, gifts and recorded video sales. Any ideas where I can find more models just to open a profile, record a few shows and set a schedule?
And I am a girl

It's not finding the models that's the problem - it's keeping them when you have a new site and no traffic. The girls will go where the money (ie. the traffic) is.

Thanks Autumn..I understand that but how do you get traffic without the performers. We have new user signups everyday but without the performers being online there is little for them to do. That is why I stress the need for performers and for them to set a schedule, post pics, record teaser videos as well as record several paid videos. That way the users have something to do while they are there. Users also have the ability to send private messages to the models to request shows.


There is no membership fees..free to sign up, view pics and the free videos..so yes Xender...free membership to everyone at BHW..lol

Any advice will greatly be appreciated...

a cam site full pf models with no traffic is worth shit, what you can for promoting is do adult traffic exchange programs,buy advertising space on popular big porn sites,submit vids to adult tube sites etc...

Charge your models a one time $30 setup fee. Your sign up rate will drop significantly but the ones that sign up will perform. So, instead of having 50 girls who never show up, you'll end up with just a few models who take action.

You have to make them dedicated. Don't be afraid of asking for money. If you can convince them that this is a great money making opportunity, then they'll pay you with the blink of an eye. Hey, even if they still don't show up at least you'll make 30 bucks a pop which will help you with the bandwidth and hosting fees etc.

Thanks c0ntenth...but for know until my site ranks higher and while my adverising is getting placed. A site full of models that have recorded a few videos would give what users something to do will they are on the site. Girls are allowed to record free shows as well as paid shows. That way they have the possibility to make some money even offline. Also users are able to send models requests for shows. Its going to be a tough road ahead : )

And thanks for the advice Mr Ex. I am currently implementing those kind of marketing techniques. Starting to see some traffic form those areas but nothing to get excited about. But as far as charging performers for set up wouldnt help me too much because I basically have to beg models to sign up at this stage. Even offering to pay them to complete a profile with paid videos recordings.

What comes first with building a webcam site? Performers or Users? Seems like they alll need to come at the same time. Tough road for sure.

Yes, they have to come at the same time. If they don't come at the same time then either the girls won't stay because there's no traffic, or the traffic won't stay because there are no girls.

Most successful cam launches are run by people with deep pockets, who can buy large amounts of traffic at the same time as getting lots of good girls going at once. You need to be able to bankroll both the traffic and the girls until things are up and running and the site has momentum and steady cash flow.

Thanks Autum, I actually have money to invest into the site but where to get the most out of my investment is the question. There are so many sites out there that sale adult traffic...how do you know which ones are legit and going to send real traffic with potential users? Do I need to hire models just to be online and pay them an hourly wage?
