Runing facebook ads with long videos.

So i have some long videos on my facebook page ranges from 15 to 30 mins, and i want to promote them with facebook ads to get more subscribres for my page, i cant really run them into shorts because they are more like tutorial, is good idea to promote those videos this way?
Thank you.
30-minute video ads on FB are like showing movies in… coffee shops . Hardly anyone has the patience to sit and watch the whole thing.

Will recommend only 15-30 secs for ads. You can create a short content out of it, explaining about those videos and can try to pull audience.

Long-form video ads to get more subscribers is an effective strategy, but only if you use a short, compelling snippet as your ad, rather than running the entire video. This will help you capture attention and drive viewers to your page in a smart, cost-effective way.

Running ads for longer videos can still work, but it usually depends on the audience’s interest. People often engage better with shorter clips, so you might consider testing highlight versions or teasers that lead viewers to the full video.

Don't worry about whether the video is short or long, just write creative and engaging content. I've watched entire 30-minute videos before.

To effectively promote long-form videos, instead of using the entire 15-30 minute video, you should cut a short 15-60 second segment from it. This ad should have a strong opening that immediately attracts viewers, then ask them to click to watch the full video on your page. This way, you can save on advertising costs and increase the likelihood of gaining new followers.

It can work, although 30 seconds work best. What's your niche?

Take 30–60 second highlights from your tutorials and run them as ads, add a clear CTA like “Watch the full tutorial on my page”.

Long videos tend to lose viewer interest quickly. Instead, focus on crafting short, impactful clips that grab attention and deliver value fast. These bite-sized videos should be engaging, inspiring, and tailored to spark interest or action from your audience. The goal is to leave a quick but strong impression that resonates.

You can try cutting short videos and creating a plot to attract viewers to the next episode and need to subscribe to the page to follow for the next part.

Videos that are too long usually perform poorly in ads; shorter, engaging clips work much better

Don't rely solely on long video ads as CPM is high and hard to retain viewers.

Best strategy result: Use short videos/short management to attract users → then long videos retain & convert to followers/subs.

If you do an educational/tutorial niche → long videos are the nurturing asset but short videos are the audience extension tool.

You can choose the most interesting and catchy moments from the video and split it into several shorts.

Long videos are a magnet for Page followers. The strategy is to use a compelling 30-60 second clip as an ad, driving users back to the Page to watch the full video and converting them into subscribers.

If you want to run long videos, your content must really attract users to retain them and achieve good results.

Hi,
If it is tutorial videos then you have to continue , Those who will interest in that videos definitely they will see those videos and who dont have interest then they will skip.
so please go forward without thinking so much.
