Assuming, just for arguments sake, that it is a United Nations Directive (The UN can make no law and anything the UN proposes must be ratified by the country the directive would take effect in), can you tell us just how many soldiers, warships, military aircraft, tanks, etc. the UN has? Last I knew they had none and rely on the US and Britain. Meaning in turn, that the UN is nothing but a useless debating group. The UN can do nothing, and would do nothing.
As far as collapsing a tunnel, it is imminently practical. It is also fairly easy to open once France takes more than lip service to the problem of illegal immigration and emigration. However, it will never reach the point that the tunnel has to be collapsed.
Come on dude, collapsing the tunnel is heading into the realms of fantasy and isn't going to happen unless the UK decides to go to war with the rest of Europe.
Which was partly why the EU was formed in the first place, to avoid European conflict.
As for UN Law there is little the UK can do at this point. And I guarantee the clowns at Westminster won't be holding a referendum about membership of the UN lol
