I think everybody on this forum is a Jerk!
Especially people who sign up and make their first post calling out others for being rude then contribute to the forum by grabbing as many freebies as they can:
This was a JOKE OP and I am not having a pop but you will find that the more you contribute to this forum the more you will get out of it.
Also for the amount of knowledge that is here, it is worth putting up with any rudeness you might encounter.
A thick skin will serve you well.

If someone is asking a genuine question and I can help, I always will.
If, however, someone is clearly up to something dodgy and it is their first post, I will be either rude or sarcastic or both. Being British, mostly sarcastic.
There are so many new users here whose first post is basically asking how they can make great money without putting any effort in whatsoever. If they can't be arsed reading through some of the brilliant threads on here and trying to help themselves in the least little bit, then I can't be arsed helping them either.
As for yourself, this is one of your first posts and it is inflammatory - you could try practising what you preach.

Hey OP actually I find this forum quite genteel when compared to lots and lots of other Internet forums out on the world wide web. On the whole most users are very helpful here, but I do know what you're talking about. Most assholes tend to think they can say and do what they want because they believe they're hiding behind an anonymous screen. I bet if most of them were outed which isn't as impossible as some may think they'd be a real band of wimps and faggots in the real world.

I think you're mostly wrong, people respect you if you respect them. But many find it disrespectful if you're trying to scam/spam/get spoonfed. I also think that every user who's trying to scam or is too lazy to search needs to be treated with sarcasm.
There are only few cases where people are rude without a reason. There are many reasons why people can become rude, but the majority here will treat you nice as long as you don't ask really dumb questions and you're not rude yourself.
