I think you'll find the rude sarcastic remarks only really come out when someone's just too damn lazy to use the search button and look for their answer in one of the 6427 threads on the subject that exhist already.
The problem is that when you search for something, there are dozens or hundreds of posts that show up and some posts don't have the answers they are looking for so when someone's reading through the posts and they see some posts that are nonuseful/offensive, it's a waste of their time and I'm sure some people get tired of seeing that.

This forum is filled with a population of human beings. Every population of human beings consists of people who are nice, happy, mean, and rude. Sadly, its hard to do anything, the moderators can't really "ban" someone for just being a little mean or rude?

It's the same point in all industries. Unfortunately here I'm a noob and I will had to deal with that.
On the other hand, For real experts, It's always an amazing pleasure to bash the self proclaimed speudo experts, sarcasm have their utility for that too. That's a good alert for dummies about some wrong advices.

There is a saying in our language (Marathi, my mother-tongue) that everyone should have his/her critic next door. It helps you become a more human being!
Sometimes we all forget to check the mirror, before we take on the world head on.
P.S.:
It means, that we all have to face criticism -- just or unjust, or just irrelevant -- at every footstep, if we are moving on a fast track to success (or are sliding down the path of infamy). Normal people (90+% of the population) cannot fight it and they move on.
BTW, fight the unjustified assault on your persona by all means, but only through justified means if you can. Become Different! It makes the joker look deep into his mirror too.
