RSS Feeds on Webiste - Good for SEO/Ranking or Not?

So I have been trying to find out if RSS feeds are that relevant and more - are you peeps using them? Do they help a site or do they hinder it in any way?

I find some sites still use them quite a bit, bringing in feeds from relevant sites but not sure if they really help bring in traffic or get any attention from big G to build site ranking or any other impact?

Any (non anecdotal) thoughts?

After that I disable that.

I have read that RSS feed helpful to other bot to understand the data.

If your site is in the "Tech" category then you definitely should apply it, Any geek like me should be still using RSS, I really like the idea of it and i still use it till the very moment. Don't know really why it isn't popular and it's a lot better than email marketing + no cost.

It keeps my email like separate from the "news" instead of subscribing to media sites to spam my email every day with articles.
