RPM's Journey to $5mil Dollars Profit in 2014

The only reason you guys aren't making millions yet frankly is because you're too busy meddling in my thread telling me I can't do it. Is it really outside of your reality that someone could do 5million in one year?

I live in the Silicon Valley. You read about people my age making way more than me off an app or an aquisition. My buddy sold his app for 3mil a few months ago.

I'm not even dreaming that big. If they can do it, so can I.

I didn't say I was going to make 5mil in IM.

My biggest source of income is going to come from private label goods. Who's to say I can't make 5 million pushing product on the internet in one year. That's how Mark Cuban got rich. Maybe come march I'll be selling poo flavored ice cream on amazon for 10 dollars a bucket.

The man who thinks he can and the man who thinks he can't are both right. -Henry Ford

Let me tell you something - My first business I thought it was going to make me lots of money. Millions for sure. I had a business partner who's dad owns a public company (worth 300 million). I partnered with him and we were selling products to get into his dad's store. His dad owned 30 stores across the US and did close to a mil in sales a day.

Yes, I thought I was in. I spent 1 year (just like you are going to) and want to know what happened? Nothing. The dad decided he didn't want to feature our products in his store. We found there was not much want for our product. Our designer walked out on us. My business partner was suicidal... I wanted to be a millionaire more than everyone. But what to know what? I had no control over my partner, my partner's dad, my designer or even the market. I could only control myself.

So, I did not make millions like you are going to but I did learn a lot. But of course, haters gona hate right?

Anyways, I am done here. I should be charging you for my time. See you in a year and write me a check.

is this guy serious?

I guess so haha. I'll be sure to make sure he gets his affiliate commissions for posting in my thread at the end of next year. I always pay my affiliates!!

Without good dreams you got nightmares!

I wish you luck on your journey, but the stage you are at is called uninformed optimism, next is informed pessimism, then you'll either crash and burn or keep soldiering. Whatever happens you'll learn a lot!

Thanks. I am on wordpress right now making my landing pages for all of my offers. I have purchased 5 sites and I already have a hosting service.

I also signed up for a free one month trial on aweber. I can only send 500 emails but hey it's a start.

I am not expecting to make any real money this month or even next month to be honest. I know it is going to be a grind but I am ready for it. Once I get in a groove I plan on working a solid 6-8 hours every day with an ocassional day off here or there.

My immediate plan of action is to get my 5 affiliate sites up and running without a glitch. Once I have that I will figure out how to optimize and promote them for CPA.

You may think some of the posters above were just being haters but there's actually good advice in them. I would seriously consider re-reading those 'hater' posts in this thread.

And working for 6-8 hours isn't going to cut it. Try 12-16 like I and many others on this site do. No social life. No days off. No holidays. Strained relationships. And we're not talking about doing this for a week, you will need to do this for months and eventually years.

Be realistic in your goals, $5mil isn't impossible but it is extremely improbable. For every success story about somebody selling their company to Google for $100mil, theres tens of thousands that don't.

Its ok, he's a 22 year old person whos spent the majority of his life practicing at and excelling in his sport (where it takes a certain amount of delusion to actually get through the roadbumps and not quit). He just hasn't been introduced to the real world yet. If you're still around here in 1 years time, and don't give up after your first few failures, it'd be a success in my eyes. Good luck.

Delusional confidence is one of my greatest attributes, 2nd to my work ethic. I do not fail, and if I do, it's only temporarily.

Like Dan, I really really really hate being the negative guy. But you need a reality check. It's good to dream big as everyone else says, but that only sets you up for disappointment. Set small goals and incrementally increase them as you attain them.

Also, I'm just going to be the first person to come out and say it. You are far too familiar with IM lingo and methodology to be brand new at this as you say. My guess is you've been trying and failing at this for a year or two already. Maybe a previously banned member?

Like I said, I hate to be this guy, but after your third thread on the same basic topic I have to speak up. I have kept quiet on your previous threads out of respect for the community.

No haha never been banned. I'm not new to I'm I've been watching videos and reading posts and articles for a good 3 months now. I've soaked up a lot of stuff.

I decided to take action a month ago when I placed my private label order.

i found blackhat world and decided to join a few days ago and document my journey to financial success in this thread. I don't know why I'm pissing so many people off, out of my control I guess.

5 million is still my goal for 2014 but I think you have a good idea. From now on I am going to post short incremental goals and work my way up from there.

my first goal is to convert my first affiliate CPA commission.

From on there my goal will be to make $100/day

RPM you are the fu**ing Kenny Powers of BHW -Do the damn thing and please for the love of all that is blackhatworld make a post Dec 2014.

Best of luck to you OP. You're going to need it. I've learned IM can be a tough game. There's no feedback. You don't know why something is working good or why it's not. There's no immediate feedback for what we're doing. Sometimes we're doing the EXACT right thing but we don't even fucking know it. And then you quit and start doing something that you think is an amazing idea, but it doesn't get you anywhere. That's how the internet works.

It looks like you can work hard but can you work smart? Look at what you're up against so you can figure out how to conquer it. I'm excited to see where you take this. Best of luck.

There definitely is some comedic gold in this thread. However, the one area that legitimately could snowball quickly (if done right) is the Amazon FBA Product. I've been selling Amazon FBA products since 2009, and there is a lot of money to be made - if you have the right product. It's definitely a lot tougher (and there is less information out there) than it used to be in the golden ages of FBA (2009-2010, when noone was using it).

OP - I hope you did some heavy research into the product you are planning on selling on Amazon. I'm assuming you did a small trial buy first to test the market? The last thing you want to do is spend a bunch of money that can easily add up on a dud of a product. Believe me, it can add up really fast when you have money just wasting away.

I laugh at people who claim to have made $10mil+ their FIRST year in IM. Don't believe those ludicrous "gurus"

I don't get why he wants to be considered a guru one day, all they come off as is douchebags to me.
Your journey isn't impossible RPM. But do you know the method to get there, and pull it from paper to the physical world? I like that you've read some stuff from the forums but that doesn't do shit for experience. Go out there and fail so you know how to succeed. Just my advice.

You are not pissing anyone off. You are misunderstanding the intentions of people posting here, and label them as haters.
