I’m new to 4G proxies and have 2 questions.

  1. How many accounts and scrapers can I use with 1x 4G proxy? (I also appreciate a ratio. For example 1:3 of course with proxies more)
  2. What time should I set for the rotation? (for example: every 2 minutes. Espacially since I have heard less is better because of Covid-19 and most people being at home)
*I’m using Jarvee

Can you rotate your proxy IP address?

I have been a jarvee user for long time. Now I run my own software. You can run 5-8 accounts on safe side. and 10+ scrapers on 1 4G rotating proxy without issue. I know a good provider if you want

Do not use more than 2 -3 acc per IP. If you care for the accounts. If not then ritate and use regardless.

how to rotate 4G proxies? does it mean it will change the IP address?

A maximum of 24 accounts per a proxy, as billylu said. So each account runs for 1 hour.
However, there are a lot of options for this. Like to use 5 accounts for 4 hours and many more which you'll need to test because everyone have totally different purposes on Instagram.

It is such a pain to do those settings, especially to copy them if accounts die. Do you configure the times with night mode or another way? Because otherwise it sounds like a pain to configure this.

Might be a pain, yes, but that's the least thing to worry about :))

Either via the settings of your supplier or in the proxy manager settings. It will change the IP. It goes like this Proxy -> IP -> Instagram

Yeah, the seller will provide you an API, most likely for the rotation.
You access it and it changes your IP, almost every APIs work different but the idea is the same

depends on the provider. if they provide rotation option and customization
Do you know how it is when the supplier has the option and Jarvee. I mean do I have to set up a rotating time on both or on wich side of the end?

On the side of the provider. Jarvee just uses the proxies, handling of them would be on the provider side

That's the what I thought too, but the thing is, Jarvee as the option that one can click on "rotation" to activate it and can also set the times the proxy should rotate. That's where the confusion came.

Jarvee will rotate your existing proxies between accounts. The backend actuall proxy is not rotated.
