Update week #5
Hello guys, I would like to start by letting you know I'll post updates monthly instead of weekly from now on, anyway.
I love the new job, I talk about a lot of stuff with the CEO, I am exposed to a lot of crazy things and I get to be around a lot of people that have their businesses, so I learn from a lot of people, I can see different life perspectives from people that are doing the best they can to achieve their goals, I don't feel like I'm working, which is super weird because I never thought I can work for someone and enjoy it, one thing I like about him is that we both are learning new things, even though he is very good at what he does, he is always open to learning from other's, he doesn't act like he knows everything and he always wants to hear other opinions, which in my perspective is how a leader should be, I feel like he is someone I can call a mentor,
I am super grateful that I had this mindset shift at an early age, and that I found myself, I've always wondered when am I gonna find out who I am
and now I feel like I've got an answer, I know what to do and what I need to do, it's all about perspective, you decide how you are gonna let something affect you, I started thinking that things don't happen to me, they happen for me, it's not something I have to do, it's something I get to do, I am trying to learn something from everyone around me, it doesn't matter what job or what that person does, I'm trying not to judge and to look at things from an external view where my ego is not involved, I can't describe into words how many things I've learned over the past couple of weeks, some people might feel overwhelmed but when I entered this world all I was thinking of was that I need to be around this type of people as much as possible, everyone has a story, everyone inspires me in a way or another, everyone gives me positive energy, it's just awesome!!! At the same time, I am grateful for meeting him, ever since I found the job I felt like it was meant to be, I've always had a lot of ideas, but I never met someone who would encourage me to say what I think because it's valuable, this is exactly what he is doing, he is preparing me for success, and at the same time I want to help him achieve his goals, I want to have as big of an impact in his life the way he has in my life. I am super pumped, super excited, life is crazy and so am I :))) I wish you guys a wonderful day!!
Congratulations, don't forget to have a side-hustle.

Hello guys, I am a 20 years old guy that wants to achieve the most he can during his life time.

I've always wanted to make money, I've also felt like I gotta do something, I grew up with nothing, my mom struggled a lot, my dad was an alcoholic, he was there but he made it worse, they got divorced when I was 17 and I continued living with my mom and 2 sisters, . I started working ever since I was in high school, about 17 years old because my mom couldn't afford it, worked on minimal wage and having 3 minor kids there was nothing she could've done but her best which wasn't not even close to enough, worked as a waiter for 2 years or so, and then I started working in a call center for about 1 year and a half, it made me realize I hated it, it ripped out my soul, every day I was thinking I have to go through that shit again and again, I watched a video that made me realize I have to quit because I wasn't happy, as of now I still have to work a few more weeks post-demission, however it was the best thing I did so far, here is my plan:

I will do everything possible to become successful, I've been smoking cigarettes' and weed for the past 3 years, weed almost everyday, I wasn't addicted, because I had self discipline from going to gym and keeping my alimentation on point, until everything has been closed due to covid and I had no other way to release my stress but to get my dopamine from smoking weed, I was going to work thinking that at the end of it I can just smoke that freaking joint is what made me go through it. I started realizing I'm doing worse by not having the motivation to do anything else but to waste my time on useless things, after I quit my job, I decided I have to change some things about me as well, here is how it goes so far, I made myself a promise that the next day I will remove all the bad things in my life and I will do everything I can to succeed no matter how hard it is and so I did, next day I came with a plan:

-I quit smoking weed and cigarettes in a day, I said I'll quit them next day and I did, I don't even feel the need of them because my day is so full that I don't have time to think about it.
-Sleep for 8 hours, waking up, not checking my phone for the first hour, I have to start doing minor tasks, making my bed, washing the dishes, wash my clothes, clean my room, everything I wasn't doing then, I'm doing now to build my self discipline
-Eat regularly, good food to keep me energized, the fact that I went to gym makes it easier
-Meditation, I started working on my anxiety, stress and depression, I make sure I'm meditating every day at lease 20 minutes, I realized that the first think I need to fix before getting started is my mind.
-Reading, I make sure I'm readying everyday, my goal is at least 30 pages
-Cold showers, I committed myself into taking 2 cold showers a day, one in the afternoon and one before going to bed, it helps me move forward with it, because whenever I have to do something hard that I don't wanna do, I just take a second to reflect, nothing is as bad as taking that freaking cold shower at night, when everything you want is hot water over your body, that's the moment when my mind wants to quit every single time but I'm just throwing cold water all over me, I'm the freaking boss and I do whatever I want, not to say that I feel great after.
-Gratitude, the first thing I do is, I'm being grateful for certain things.
-Education, I'm educating myself as much as possible about money, but also self development which I think is as important as learning about money.
-Overall doing things I normally would've skipped, in order to develop a strong mind.

Within the next few days I will get my paycheck, I'm planning in investing into crypto for now, just to test out things, ofc, I will do my research as much as I can before, and my plan would be to start affiliate marketing. I know I have to be patient, I know I'll go through rough times, my mind wants to quit every second, but I'm tired of living a miserable life. This is the 4th day into it, quitting is not an option, I'm at my best right now and I wanna keep it this way, I will give you guys updates once a week,I'l do it on Saturday on Sunday, follow me along a life time journey.

Long way to go - don't get burned.
Good luck!

Update Month #2

Hello guys, I know it's been a while but I am happy to give you guys an update

I want to start by mentioning that I am still working as hard if not harder than when I started, I'm still as hungry as I was when I started and I am never going to stop, if there is anyone following this thread thinking that I quit because of inactivity, it will never happen!!
At the beginning of Nov I made my first investment of $1k into NFT's, I've put in the work, I understood how they work, I realized that the crypto space is the biggest opportunity I will ever have, especially that we're still at the beginning of the road map, that's where I want to be, I love the NFT space because everyone wants to help each other. I bought two NFT's, managed to get on the whitelist to be able to buy at the lowest price possible, within 4 days I could've sold them for $3k, however I decided to play the long term game and I hold them as I thought the project has potential. I learned my lesson now that it's been a month and I can't sell them for even $1k anymore. I do not regret my decision, because I learned a lot from it which will increase my chances of succeeding when getting into a new project. The investment I made was worth 2 months of not spending money on anything else except food or important things. Getting into a NFT project requires a big investment, at least $1k, while I am saving money again I'm following different projects and I am trying to identify what the pattern is for a good project that has growth potential, I honestly look at a project recommended by others and I form my own opinion of how the project will do, most of the times I am right which means that I would be able to get a profit of at least 2x my investment, depending on the project it can be x3 x5 x10, I'm not in a position where I can think long term because If my liquidity is locked I can't get into other projects that might give me a better roi, from now on I will chose a safer lower profit that can be scalable, and once I feel like I am in a position where I can take long term decisions I will do so. Looking forward to give you guys an update next month, new year, new plans, new goals, I know what my goals are for next year, I'm going to share it with you guys real soon and that's when the game starts. I wish everyone a wonderful day, stay blessed!!

crypto and everything related to it is a scam. Next Metaverse and virtual real estate is a scam too. I will never invest in such things and never will invest in startups launching their IPO in India. Websites get sold for monthly 5x revenue and that their true value in the market.

I respect your opinion, I decided to invest in crypto as I think it will be mass adopted at some point. There's nothing wrong with investing in crypto and there's nothing wrong with not investing in crypto, everyone is free to take decisions for themselves, you ended up having your own opinion based on the things you got exposed to, and I did the same too, I can easily notice your frustration, you probably got scammed and now you no longer wanna hear about it, if it happened to you I am sorry. Of course there are scams in the crypto world that's you have to be very careful, I personally don't think it's a scam but that's just me.

People of Western Europe scammed me and I don't want to loose thousands of dollars one day after investing in crypto today. I will rather keep the money safe in Share/Stock Market.

You are on the right path, most people don't think like that. You still have time too. hope you hit your goal.

Update month #3

Happy new year guys!!

I've been reflecting a lot recently on all things I'm doing, and I want this journey to be as transparent as possible.

Even though I've always been aware of the fact that I shouldn't overestimate what I can do within a specific period of time because that will kill the happiness and fulfillment, I think it still happened.

I look back to where I was 3 months ago, and I'm happy with the way I've changed as a person and the knowledge I've gathered. I'm still doing what I'm supposed to do as far as talking about tasks.

I am in a position where I really have to take some decisions

I am working a lot at my new job, the average is about 10 hours a day, most of the time including weekends as well. I love what we do, I find it exiting and fulfilling, that's also why I don't find it hard to work as much as I do.

But because I put so much work into that, I don't have as much time to focus on me, I'm constantly thinking about that job instead of thinking about my goals as I was doing when I started.

It's only been three months but I learned so much about how a business works, just by being around the right people and researching.

What I realized is that at the moment my actual job gives me more fulfillment that working on my goals

I start to look at it as a major distraction even though it keeps adding bricks to the foundation.

I don't think about quitting because it's a distraction, like I said, I love it and I think it had a major impact when it comes to my growth

But at the end of the day, at the top of the list I should have my goals and aspirations instead.

Working that much also gives me no time to work on a side thing, I'm not yet in a position where I could say that money aren't a problem anymore

This quote really sticks with me: ''In the beginning, focus on building up the base of the income of the lifestyle you want''

The whole point was that once you reach that point, you will be able to make a lot more progress a lot faster, because all the problems in your life created by money will go away, therefore nothing will stop you anymore from taking the decisions you really want to take

I have to figure out a way to get more fulfillment from working on my goals instead of my job, and to work less, otherwise I won't be able to fix the money problem

I am open to suggestions and I appreciate all of you for taking the time to read.

Have an awesome day!!

Hello everyone,

I'm not gonna start by apologizing for not posting updates on a regular basis.

The last couple of months have been really tough for me, when I started this journey I had to create the new version of me, half a year later.. I had to do it again

I'm grateful for everything that has happened to me as it got me to where I am now. I wasn't as happy as I used to be and I knew that something was off, I just didn't know what

I read a book that opened my eyes, I realized that the reason why I was unhappy was because all this time I've been a people pleaser

I was saying yes to everything even if there were things I didn't want to do, stupid me thought that people were coming with requests because I was the only one able to do them, I was completely wrong.

I was sacrificing myself every time so that I won't hurt other people's feelings. I thought I would be more appreciated because I was whiling to do what others were not doing.

WRONG, by making myself always available and whiling to help my time became unvalued.. I became unvalued. I was always available for whatever it was that needed to be done, often times even leaving my personal needs on the side to help others.

Everything has changed ever since I realized that I am more valuable than any other person, and I deserve to take care of myself, and that I need to be respected and to work towards what I've always wanted to achieve

Shortly after that I did 2 weeks of dopamine detox ( no social media nor internet ) only checking what's app for 5-10 minutes a day to reply to messages

That gave me a lot of time to reflect and to know myself better, even though it was very tough.

I got back into the gym a week and a half ago, I created a new routine, I've gained almost 6 kg in the past week and a half, I started going out in the weekend playing soccer with my friends, my body gets in shape really fast

I have more energy, I feel more motivated, I learned to love myself more, I became more confident about who I am, and I learned to say NO whenever I feel like it would be the right thing to do.

What I thought was the best version of me was not even close to the potential I have, I realized how badass I am for just being me, I am the only person who knows how hard what I'm doing on a daily basis is, a constant battle against comfort which some of you may relate to.

When I think that 99% of people will not even be able to follow my routine for a day because I know how tough it is and I'm out there doing it everyday gives me so much power and drive to keep hustling. ( In fact, 99% will literally fail doing the first thing I do in the morning )

I'm exited to see what the new me will be able to achieve, I appreciate each one of you that are still here, reading the posts.

Have an amazing day!

I could never work in a call center as a support agent. Angry people would talk to me,and that would make my anxiety even worse.

Hello everyone

It's been a while since I posted

The last couple of months have been a completely new journey for me. A journey of discovery

I made constant efforts to stick to my routine and to get all things right which made me feel depressed and unmotivated, I just couldn't understand why

I was too afraid to recognize that I'm not as strong as I thought I am. I was and I'm still afraid of doing certain things, I've struggled with crazy anxiety in the past few years, always overthinking, never taking action, always looking for external validation and appreciation.. things I couldn't see because I was blind

Afraid of taking decisions because I might be wrong. You can't be wrong if you don't do anything so you might as well not do anything because it's safe.

Afraid of asking for help....

You can't be judged, humiliated, laughed at and so on..

Afraid, afraid, afraid... I am afraid of too many things and I'm tired of it

I wanted everyone to see me as the guy that got his shit together, that's smart, that knows what he's doing, that's confident, that never makes mistakes, that isn't afraid, that doesn't have problems, that's always happy... basically the Ideal me

A couple of weeks back I stepped out of the comfort zone and I went to see a psycho therapist

One of the best things I could've done, it helped and still helping me to see and to understand my behavior

Because the smartass of me thought that I figured myself out, that I haven't missed anything and that I'm self aware enough to not need the help of others because I can help myself

And that was true to a certain point, I did help myself a lot, I did solve a lot of problems, I did become a better person.. but the effort and energy it takes to figure all that out by myself can be done faster with a professional and way better than I could ever do

I realized that there's a shit ton work to do on myself, I want to put myself in as many uncomfortable situations as possible

Way f*cking easier said than done

But I did it, I did one of the things I was the most afraid if not the most afraid of... and guess what???

To put it in perspective, just thinking about it increased by pulse like crazy, I would almost start shaking, I would breath rapidly, I would feel overwhelmed with thoughts, not even controlling my breath wouldn't stop it

But I was too tired to run from it so I did it.

I DID IT, and guess what??? I WAS DISSAPOINTED

I was disappointed that while I was doing it I didn't feel anxious, I was actually relaxed

How come I almost start shaking thinking about it but I'm completely relaxed when doing it

And that's when it snapped for me...

For someone with anxiety It's 10 times more intense when thinking about something you're afraid of than when actually doing it

How funny is that? It was all in my head but so f*ucking intense that it always convinced me not do it

There's a combination of things that are stopping me from working on my goals

But I am coming after them, I will find whatever it is that stopping me from doing so and I'll fix it, whatever it is that I have to do I'll do, because I'm tired...

Even if that's making me sh*t my pants I'll do it

Thank you everyone!

Hey man I respect everything you are doing. You will get there. I am 23 so were in similar situations in the sense of starting out our adult careers. I am going to retire with 2.5M. I opened up a roth IRA last year and I plan to stay disciplined until I am 65 and then I am expected to retire with that amount. Maybe more maybe less, give or take. But its the security of knowing that in the back of my mind makes things easier in life. I only mention this bc its the easiest way to become that millionaire you want to be. I recommend doing something similar ASAP. The earlier the better. Max it out every year its 6k a year to max out an IRA I think. I believe in you and your journey and I think this can help you get some security. If you have any questions just pm me. Good luck to you!

I appreciate your and your feedback. I will definitely reach out if I have any questions.

However, my goal has never been retirement

I just want to play the game and get better at the game

I want the wealth, I want the lifestyle, but even if I was a millionaire right now my daily life would be 80% the same, I'm not happy when seeking comfort

I feel bored and with no purpose, I want to struggle, I want to suffer because otherwise there's no growth, but that will be a lot more enjoyable if I wouldn't have money problems

It's all about the journey and this is what I'm always trying to remind myself because often time I forget...

When I will be a millionaire I'm not gonna celebrate the millions but the journey and the things I overcame to get there

And the person I became along the way

I love this. I was just suggesting a safety net. Something none of our parents considered was life after work. Then they realized with no plan there is no life after work. There is just work. I am working on starting my own business. Its really hard, but like I said having that safety net has made my anxiety and daily life better. Knowing if all else fails, at least I know this plan will have my ass covered one day.

Got it, I hear you

I'm also looking to start a business, maybe there's something I can help you with in that regard

But right now I'm not in a position where I can put money in a safety net because almost everything I make goes into my mental and physical health that have to function well in order for me to start the business

I don't have a cashflow source right now other than my paycheck, which isn't much considering the fact that I'm in Europe

In my opinion having a safety net is definitely something to do when you have a lot of cashflow coming in

Imagine that in order for you to become wealthy you have to acquire a lot of skills, everything might go down, you might lose it all

But you still have the skills to make it all back, it all depends on your perspective about money

Are money gonna ruin your as a person if you lose them? Or is it just gonna change your lifestyle?

You can be the same person with or without money, same mindset, same beliefs

Yea we can totally connect and bounce ideas off each other. Write to me on telegram @ZARAmarketing

I believe money does not necessarily "change a person" it shows who they've always been. I know who I am and that is what matters to me. Any outside noise is almost always going to be negative. And I agree with everything you are saying. You have the right attitude, stay strong within that. If you ever want someone to spitball ideas with or whatever just pm me.
