Right idea? - Backlinking

I created 100+ social media/ networking sites (YouTube, Flickr, Twitter, Yelp etc.) and added my main money sites link to each of them.

I then added each link to the sidebar of my money site in the form of a clickable icon. See the bottom right of http://www.realpeterbruce.com/


Now, how do I increase the the traffic and rankings for my money site?

I thought my keywords (facebook marketing, youtube marketing etc) would be better?
