    Hey guys,

So I have several reviews website but I can't get these stars to show up on the SERPS.
On one of my recent website, I've got this on my article reviewing a product :

Should I make some changes to that in order to make them appears ? On Google for now it's only showing "Article by [NAME]" + my G+ picture.
What I would like is : "Review by [NAME]" + "G+ picture" + Stars.

I've tried to mark-up data with webmaster tool but I guess it didn't work, or I did not do that right.

I checked source code of one of my competitor and that's how they do it.
Written in white on a white background with very small police. Well my guess is there must be a cleaner way to do it and use the rating that's already show in my review.

Anyway, I'm taking any advice here cause I'm pretty sure that will help my CTR now I'm on Page 1 for many KW for this website.

    Thanks guys,

    Valkurm

In my niches, they removed all stars from all review sites. You may be running up against that.

Google have removed lots of rich snippets from websites over the past year or so. Nearly all of my sites which used to show stars and Author pictures show nothing now.

Is this to fake stars or to reflect legit reviews.

If it is to reflect legit reviews, surely you need to code a small ap to collate the review stats and post the average. It shouldn't be too difficult to make work, but I'm pretty certain the rich snippet code that is provided by various sources doesn't do it all for you, it just provides the format for google to read, you have to provide the info.

Even with that Google is getting very choosey about which snippets it publishes.

Well actually some of my competitors (really bigger than me, though) still have Stars Rating.

I want to reflect the rating I gave to the product. It's not average rating of visitors.

Your guesses is that my code is alright but it's just Google not showing the Stars ?

Yea for your rating the code should be fine, it's just google being funny.

Can't see the stars on the preview too either.
Only errors I get are :
Error: At least one field must be set for HatomEntry.
    Error: Missing required field "entry-title".
    Error: Missing required field "updated".
    Error: Missing required hCard "author".

Which don't looks related to stars or review I guess.

This is a shot in the dark, but try the aggregate reviews schema instead of the ratings one.

I think the problem is that my post are seen as "Article" and not as "Review". But I can't find how to change that.
Also, can it affects SEO if I switch every articles to reviews ?

    So just a quick update.
I was finally able to show the stars by adding this (Google default example) with a "display:none" for the div.
It works, but it removes the Google Authorship picture. Don't really know which one I should put for best CTR.
