    Hello,

I'm wondering if it would be good practice to forward my IP address for my website to my domain using htaccess. Example if a user tries to access my site from the IP it 301 redirects to the domain name. Does anyone else do this? Has it helped you in the SERPS?

    Thank You

    IP Canonicalization.

Same concept as the www-redirect, so it certainly wouldn't hurt IMO. As far as noticeable SERP changes, I doubt it.

If I'm not mistaken that would come up with an error, Infinite loop error can't remember the exact error.

I could be wrong though and I doubt it would do anything to help the SERPS

A HTTP_HOST rewrite will work if done logically.
