On the contrary. I think the articles are too good. Some of them even have transcriptions of the pronunciations and are sorted by first letter. I think I might get where they come from - they look like ripped from an encyclopedia, journal or something like that.
Some of the words have a very high CPC and SEO/ad competition so it looks like putting articles in for the sake of monetizing them with traffic that is not SEO traffic. They don't seem to be indexed anywhere else - they look unique, so it might be a good idea, it just might be.

I can see some traffic, it's like 5-10 people coming from Google and Bing daily. But I can't wait for something better at this time, the site is just very new.

Hi, I don't think the grammar is bad but it is wrong in several places. I am only suggesting this based on you asking if the structure/content was good so it might seem picky but I think it is relevant. For example the line

"Adults are less likely to catch chickenpox because, by the age of 15, about 75 percent of children have had chickenpox, and it is unusual to get the disease a second time"

That whole line should not be written with the commas included. It doesnt need them. There are many instances of this when they are just not needed. For me it's just a case of going through the grammar and punctuation and making it more reader friendly. The content of the articles is strong but maybe it has come from a reference library and you have written it again which is fine but it needs more proofing.

Hopefully this helps a little.

Imo paragraphs actually are the best part of your website as they didnt feel too bad to look at them. Everything else on the other hand needs to be improved... a lot. First thing was that awful white blasting in to my eyes at the second I opened that page. Either fill it with more content or make it a bit grayer. The pic on left side is really nice for your niche, buttons on the right looks like made by 5 year old.
Overall my advice would be to just take a look a some of todays cool looking websites and try to recreate what they are doing

The article read well (I read an article about toddlers), but I would definitely break it up and add some more sub-headings. Make your heading and sub-headings a different size and font from the rest of the text. Breaking up those large chunks of text will make reading a lot easier.

Most people skim through an article and read through the headings/sub-headings to see if they really want to read the entire article. Make it easy for them to read. You may end up with a higher bounce rate if people feel overwhelmed by a big block of text.

If you go over to the copyblogger site (if you don't know it, google it), he/she has some excellent articles about how to setup your articles. You can have great content but people may never read it because it's just a big block of text. Leave a lot more "white space" in your article. If this site was mine, I would actually make the fonts larger. I know it's the same font size as Wikipedia but it's tiny and hard to read. Think about your elderly readers and people with bad eyesight. This is really just my opinion but I think it has some merit.

I would change the font and font sizes in your menu and header area. Everything is really small. I know you didn't want any design tips but I felt like this was worth mentioning because it's hard to read.

To sum it all up:
Break up text (more white space). Make more paragraphs.
Use more headings/sub-headings. Make it easy to skim through.
Fonts in header/menu area are really small.
